Pleasure vs Pain: a Cautionary Tale

Truly this isn't worth buying alone. Trying it isn't a bad idea, but you may be as sensitive as me and find its more pain then pleasure.

Her Pleasure condoms|Trojan her pleasure condoms aren’t all they’re cracked up to be. When I’ve used them with my partner, he didn’t notice any difference at the time from any other condom, but I very well did. During the intercourse it went from pleasure to pain quickly, and there after left me too sore to do anything else fun for the night or that morning.

I hadn’t thought about it then, but that “extra stimulation” for her “sensitive” area’s roughed mine up more than probably intended. As it went from pleasure to pain I dried up a little as well, which only worsened the situation. This pain problem may be that I’m still new to sex and may be a little tighter than average, so beginners beware! If you’re into rough sex or like a little pain with pleasure, you may want to give these a try.

Also my partner has said that the ribbing detracts from the experience for him, so all in all it was a bust for us! The random thicker parts of the ‘ribbing’, like in any ribbed condom|Trojan ultra ribbed condoms, made it harder for him in terms of sensitivity. Perhaps if your man is a little ‘overly sensitive’ and climaxes early for you, this may be a solution. In this case it could draw out the sex for a slower, steadier climax. If you’re into quickies, this isn’t the condom for you.

Luckily for us, we had only bought one of Trojan’s sampler packs containing “Her Pleasure” so it wasn’t coming down to sex and pain or no sex at all. My suggestion particularly if your new, get one of the sampler packs and give it a shot first. Or a small 3 pack at the corner store. Unless you have a way to get rid of them, it’s no fun to be stuck with a stash of condoms that you don’t even want to use.

Using a little water-based lube might help a lot, at least with your end- a guy can also put a drop of lube inside a condom to wear, which will help his sensation too.

I've found that the lube on condoms really doesn't cut it for me as the latex seems to dry me out. I would suggest picking up a good lubricant to keep that from happening. Water or silicone based lubes are safe to use with latex, so you would have a pretty good variety of lubes available for this purpose. Silicone leaves more friction than water based does, but there are some pretty good reviews for lube on the site. :)

I also agree that you should try more lube! There's several options available here on EF. If you are new to sex, you might want to look into if your sensitive to latex or maybe even the lube that these condoms are coated in. Reactions to these can also cause pain so, it's worth looking into! Good luck!

Lube lube lube! Which isn't to say that will solve your problems, but you should never have to worry about "drying up."

I'm surprised you dried up, with the lube on these I stayed wet the entire time. You could always use straight up water too not just lube to help get some moisture back.
