Always one to try new things I decided to try out the magic of female condoms. I read about them in sex ed books, and heard about it in health class years ago. It was time to finally try out what these things are. What a mistake that was.

Opening it up, I found a very odd looking device, a condom with a little diaphragm like ring inside. Following instructions, I squeeze the ring and try to insert it. This was one of the hardest parts in using it as it was hard to put in place and push all the way up. In the end it didn't go that well and I had a weird looking latex flap hanging out. As hilarious as that was for my partner, it wasn't so hilarious for my libido. After I got it as far as my fingers reached I decided that as long as it was 'secure' enough for penetration that that would help push it in.
Penetration wasn't as sexy as it should've been. If I didn't hold the outside, my partner had a tendency of pushing the whole thing partially in or somehow getting in the side and not in the condom, both of which were unsafe. Thrusting held the same problem as the outside hanging in liked to slip inside which poses risk of spillage and after going at it for a little, we decided it was best to slip on a male condom instead.

While people claim sex with a condom on feels horrible, they have no idea how bad this was. Using this would be a great way to convince people that male condoms aren't so bad. The lubricant used had a very sticky consistency and though washed off easily, reminded me of an oil slick.

Overall this product is thick, relatively unsafe and just visually unappealing.

These are still hard to use. Honestly, they've been lying around in my house for awhile and I might need to throw them out soon. Every man would rather just use normal condoms than deal with this unsexy mess.
