Simple vegan harness - double strap harness by ASLAN Leather - review by Jack M.

I've spent quite a while - the last 3 or 4 years - looking for a harness to suit my needs. It's not been easy as my stipulations were quite specific; it had to be suitable for packing and playing, it had to be water-resistant, it had to be under $100, and it couldn't be black. I've managed to piece together some cheap DIY harnesses for less than $20 before, but I'd really rather have something professionally made.

I'm so glad I plunked down $50 on the Aslan Simple Vegan Harness - the cotton candy pink version. It's perfect. It holds my packer in place under my boxers without making me look like I have a hard-on, and while I haven't had the opportunity to use it for play yet, it holds my biggest, heaviest cock just fine.

This would be a fantastic, inexpensive harness for anyone looking to pass, engage in some gender play, or for plain strap-on sex.

Considering this is made of nylon and plastic, it is surprisingly soft and comfortable. Other reviews mention this, but you can't really appreciate how soft and comfy it is until you try it. I'm extremely sensitive to things putting pressure on my skin or digging into me - I don't even like wearing bracelets, necklaces or watches for extended periods of time because of the pressure they put on my skin. I can wear this under my boxers and not even feel it.

It's also pretty much invisible - no one would be able to tell I was wearing this in public if I wore a pair of jeans over it.

The Simple Vegan Harness is a double-strap or jock-style harness, with one strap around the waist and two straps between the legs. This means that the wearer can be penetrated or played with if they desire. It is also sturdier and provides more control than a G-string style harness.

The center O-ring is interchangeable, so you can use any size dildo or cock that the harness will support. I switched the black O-ring that came with it out for a clear, silicone, super stretchy cock-ring, to minimize the amount of times I might need to change rings. The studs that hold the O-ring in place are a bit tough to pull apart, so constantly switching rings might get annoying.

I would have preferred metal D-rings and buckles instead of plastic, but this is a inexpensive harness.

The stitching is sturdy and unlikely to fray as far as I can tell.

For me, the Simple Vegan Harness fits so comfortably I barely notice it's there. The edges don't dig into my skin, even though I have it fitted quite snugly.

This harness can supposedly fit 56" hips and a 56" waist size - my hips are about 30", so I can't vouch for how comfortable it would feel for someone of that size.

Adjusting the straps to fit my waist and legs was just a bit difficult; it is simple and straightforward enough to pull the straps through the buckles but it takes some work to make them budge. This would probably only be an ongoing annoyance if you share the harness with someone who is significantly different in size to you.

Plopping a packer or a cock through the O-ring is self explanatory enough, and the interchangeable O-ring will allow for many sizes and styles.

As I mentioned, I haven't had the opportunity to use this for play yet, but my o2 Adam - which is seven inches long, fairly thick and almost a pound in weight - is held sturdy by this harness.

When it comes time to take it off, simply loosen it about half an inch or so and you should be able to step out of it.

I suppose you could chuck this in the washing machine, but a simple wipe-down with a damp cloth or a hand-wash in the sink will probably do.

It can then be thrown in a drawer, hung in a closet, or stored in the nice little pouch that comes with it.
