Hottie xtra - strap-on dildo by Happy Valley - review by Strap Addict

I’ve owned my Hottie Xtra for nearly two years and wrote a quick review not too long after I got it (see below). I wanted to write this update to share my long-term thoughts on this perfect piece of silicone.

As best as I can recall, I had no issues playing with it the first time. I had already owned Doc Johnson’s Classic Butt Plug Royal, but was looking for something with a more steady stretch, as I found the sudden size change of the plug uncomfortable. I was also looking for a silicone play toy, as opposed to the rubber of the plug, and found exactly what I was looking for with the Hottie Xtra.

I can understand the concerns of some of the other reviewers. Due to its size, it is definitely a specialized toy. If you’re not accustomed to toys of this size, you may want to find something a little smaller, at least until you’ve worked your way up a bit. My wife looked at me like I was crazy when I brought it to bed for her to play with one night.

With that said, I’ll start off by saying that I have never been so close to a prostate orgasm than I have with this toy. Without any other stimulation, the constant pressure that the bulbous head puts on the prostate, combined with a little thrusting, was enough to drive me up the shower walls. (If only my arms would have been able to keep up the thrusting.) Nonetheless, it was an amazing and unforgettable experience.

Another plus of the Hottie Xtra is also a slight disadvantage. I say this because the short stature of the toy allows the user to insert it entirely and have the head snuggle the prostate perfectly. I found this to be useful because I can insert the toy, sit on the edge of the bed or a chair, and my wife can straddle me. The stimulation of the toy on the prostate coupled with the act of making love is indescribable. Stature is also a slight disadvantage in my opinion because it makes the toy virtually impossible to use in a harness. The O-ring on our harness surprisingly stretched to accept the Hottie Xtra, but it was just too difficult for my wife to comfortably use. This issue that may be remedied by using a Vac-u-lock harness. There is a small spot on the bottom of the toy that is made to accept a small bullet vibrator, but I don’t know if it could be used in that way or not. Which brings up the bullet vibrator, I never use it and instead found that if I insert a finger into the space for it, the toy becomes very controllable. A "Vac-u-loc hand" sort of thing; it works great. I used this method in my earlier mention of a prostate orgasm and every other time since then to at least some degree.

In closing, I highly recommend the Hottie Xtra. For me, it is a perfect combination of stretch and prostate stimulation. You should be forewarned though, that in order to experience any of the joys that can be obtained from it, you must be able to take it inside of you.
