The VIP has been hailed as a great high-quality dildo for delivering G-spot orgasms, but it is just as effective at reaching the P-spot as well! As there are already a number of reviews concerning its vaginal use, I want to focus on its potential relating to pegging and anal in general. Although the VIP isn't the perfect toy for anal penetration, its definitely a viable option for gender play due to its low price and solid design.

The VIP features a matte 100%-silicone material which is smooth to the touch, but does have a noticeable drag. This becomes very important for anal usage, as a moderate amount of water-based lube is required to avoid unpleasant friction. In this sense, the VIP is fairly standard as the only materials requiring smaller amounts of lubricant tend to be solids such as glass or metal. Once a good-quality lube has been applied, the silicone retains the coat fairly well. When used anally, the VIP only required dabs of extra lube about every 15 minutes of use. The dildo is moderately rigid and requires a decent amount of pressure to bend. Despite this, it is soft enough to be comfortable for extended pegging.

The shape of the VIP is perfect for hitting the P-spot on long strokes, but is short enough to be functional for short quick strokes as well if placed right. The curve does require the dildo to be flipped for doggy-style. The head of the VIP is what really puts it as a contender for gender play! The curves on the corona of the glans are shallow, but present enough to rub gently on the P-spot. This is probably my favorite aspect of the VIP, the angles and bevel feel like they've been designed for massaging the prostate! As evident in the picture, this dildo has balls attached to the bottom of the base that I would call normally-sized. While this gives it a plus for realism, it can add a bit of difficulty for some harnesses. I haven't experienced any significant problems with the SparePart's Joque, but the placement of O-rings in other common harnesses such as some in the ASLAN line can cause complications. If you're getting this dildo for gender play, this is definitely something to consider.

When looking at the length and diameter, the VIP is a bit mixed. Its 1.5" diameter definitely puts it in the advanced anal category as far as thickness is concerned. Although the material is soft, don't expect too much give when inserting the dildo. The insertable length however is just the opposite. The 5.5" that are actually usable puts the VIP in the short-to-moderate length category which is great for beginners. Sometimes this shorter length can cause problems depending on what positions you prefer, and the anatomy of your behind.

In a harness that supports ball containing dildos, the VIP performed pretty well. There is a large enough gap between the shaft and the balls to allow it to stay mounted securely for most harnesses involved in gender play. The main drawback is its short insertable length; which limits the depth of longer strokes, and tends to fall out more in certain positions.

The VIP follows the standard care rules for silicone toys. It does not have any crevices that require special care, and its material does not attract much particulate matter.

For me personally, I really like the appearance of the VIP. I like a certain amount of realism, but am not a fan of flesh tones or veins. This dildo offers a nice compromise of anatomy and beauty.

If I were to look at the VIP as a quality to price ratio, I'd give it a 1.5; you're definitely getting a little more than you pay for with this Tantus product. It's not my #1 dildo for gender play, but its one that I enjoy and still continue to use. If you're on a budget and looking for a solid product, the VIP should be on your list of contenders.
