Vixen Creations Raquel - So very pink!

The Vixen Creations Raquel is a long, slender, smooth insertable dual density silicone toy. Raquel is suited to internal stimulation driven by a hand (or two!), a harness, or mounted on a toy pillow/toy mount. Raquel is as non-realistic as a penetrative toy can get, which I find appealing. Raquel is my absolute favorite toy for harness use, and she works super well with my Liberator BonBon! Raquel is safe for anal use as well, with a firm flared base that is easy to grip an manipulate. The soft, squishy outer layer of Raquel means that cervix knocks and bumps are virtually non-existent, even with the impressive length she's packing.

The Vixen Creations Raquel is made of a fabulous combinations of silicone. The outer layer is soft and squishy, with a slick, smooth texture. The silicone is pink with metallic color swirls in it. The base and core are made of a firm, sturdy pearl white silicone with blue metallic swirls! It's so pretty to look at! The texture is uniformly smooth, with some drag against skin, so lube is a good idea. Silicone is amazing! It's non-porous, lasts forever, and doesn't leech any harmful chemicals!

The Vixen Creations Raquel is slender, long, and bulbed at the tip. The outer layer of soft silicone is quite thick, with only a narrow core of firm silicone in the middle. Raquel is extremely bendy and flexible and has a tendency to go all over the place. The base on raquel is really amazing for use in a harness. It has a narrow profile, but its nice and wide so that it stays where you put it! I am forever having toys with small bases get squirrely in my (admittedly very basic) harness. I think raquel would be brilliant in any harness rig, and the extra long stature is also great for harness use, since you don't loose as much to the harness and you have more to thrust with. My only gripe about the actual design of Raquel is that the inner core is off center. It's sort of tilted at an angle awkwardly (it doesn't seem deliberate like the off-center core of Tantus' 02 Adam), and I can feel the tip of it very close to the surface at the bulged head of the toy.

The Vixen Creations Raquel just rates a "nice" from me. While there is no overt problems with it, I'm not especially pleased with the bulb head or the narrow stature. I do like that it is extremely non-threatening and totally unrealistic. Raquel is best suited to thrusting, as the inner core is so flexible that g-spot stimulation is rather difficult to maintain. Raquel mostly shines as a harness toy to me. It's easy to drive, and it's not intimidating for my partner (it's his favorite out of the ones I own, by far). Also! The base works as a really excellent suction cup on smooth surfaces, such as shower tile or glass.

The Vixen Creations Raquel is made of a wonderful high quality silicone. Standard silicone care should be observed. Do not use silicone lube with this toy, only water or oil based lubes, please! Cleaning Raquel is quite simple, just give it a good scrub with a gentle soap or toy cleaner, boil it, or toss it in the top rack of the dishwasher - no detergent! Storing Raquel is a breeze too. Either keep it in the package it came in, or wrap it in cloth or a ziplock to prevent contact with lesser-quality toys and you're set.

The Vixen Creations Raquel came packed in one of their awesome plastic tubes! The packing is not discreet at all, since it's totally clear and labled with company information, but it's awesome for storage! The cap can be a little difficult to get on and off, but I fixed that by cutting a little slit in the upper edge to make it easier to get the lid on and off.
