This lovely lady feels fabulous in every orifice. Vaginally she's slim enough for an adventurous beginner, but girthy and long enough for the intermediate player. Raquel's lovely body is made from 100% platinum silicone. Silicone rates a 10 on the Eden Safety Scale. Silicone is a fabulous material and Vixen Creations has come up with a mind blowing formula. Raquel is made of two different densities of silicone; the outer layer and the inner core. The outer layer is made up of the squishiest and most pliant silicone I've ever felt. The inner core is made of a firm, but extremely pliant, silicone. The firmer silicone makes up the base as well. To the touch, Raquel has a tacky, almost sticky, feel to it. When she's lubed up with water-based lube, she's extremely slick.

The feel of the two silicones is very hard to describe. The bulbous head is exclusively the softer silicone. After that, the softer silicone covers the shaft of the inner core. That's where it feels eerily realistic. The first time I squeezed the shaft, I squealed out loud. I couldn't help it, it felt that real. When you get to the white base, you'll feel the firm silicone, that makes up the inner core as well. The white base is gorgeous as it has a purple/blue iridescence to it. Raquel is a beautiful pink with a slight purple iridescence. You can see slight lines of darker pink on the head. The dildo is completely smooth, with no variations in texture.

*DO NOT USE WITH SILICONE BASED LUBRICANTS!!! IT MAY DAMAGE THE TOY!!! If you insist on using a silicone based lubricant, spot test on an area that is not insertable.

**The VixSkin silicone is malleable with a certain amount of pin point pressure or force. So be careful handling her, as she may "bruise" or dent from finger nails.

The design of the Raquel is phallic and functional. It's not realistic and doesn't have any texture that resembles a penis. Now that doesn't mean that if someone were to look at Raquel they wouldn't have any clue that it's a dildo. That much is obvious. The head is bulbous and completely squishy. The bulb allows for great G-spot stimulation, as it rubs rather than pokes. I assume that it would stimulate the prostate in the same way. About three-quarters down on the bulb, you can feel the tip of the inner core. The inner core is firm, but Raquel has quite a bit of flop to her. This can make it difficult to insert anally or vaginally. This may make her difficult for harness use, but may allow for interesting positions.

Raquel does have a suction cup base, that does work well on COMPLETELY smooth surfaces. I had difficulty getting her to effectively adhere to the tile wall of my shower. Though, the tile in my shower is on the small side. I found that her base wasn't a circle like other Vixen Creations dildos, but more of an oval. The oval works great for use, as it adds to the stability of Raquel. It helps me retain control of her extremely pliant body. This may also be the case when using her in a harness. Also, I found it worked well in keeping Raquel in place when using the suction cup base. To my extreme pleasure, I found that she worked best on the bottom of the bathtub. I had to pry her off with my finger nails. That's something I look for when using a suction cup base.

Her size is non-intimidating. She's great for beginners or intermediate players. I'm more into girth, but I found her size to be perfect for anal play. She's very comfortable to use and doesn't require a ton of warm up. A simple butt plug before hand, is enough to get ready for Raquel. Her head does provide the "pop" that many of us look for in a toy. Since the head is so pliant and the soft silicone encases the shaft, I found this to be the most comfortable toy I've ever used anally.

Raquel blew my mind when I first held her in my hands. As my first exposure to Vixen Creations VixSkin, I have to say I'm now hooked. I was taken aback by her tacky feel, so I immediately walked over to the sink and lathered her up with soap. I was surprised at how slick she became. I boil all of my toys before use, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. The first time I used her vaginally, I was not all that impressed by her lack of girth. Oh glorious silicone, how I love thee. This lovely, naked lady can be cleaned with toy cleaner or soap and water. To sterilize, you can boil her for 3-5 minutes or wipe her down with a 10% bleach solution. I wouldn't recommend throwing her in the dishwasher just because of her delicate skin.

To help her retain her shape, I store her upright, in Vixen Creations' cylinder packaging. If it takes up too much space, you can store her in a Ziploc bag. If you were to do that, I would keep her where she won't get banged up or smashed.

I love the packaging and store all of my Vixen Creations in their cylinders. This makes them fun to look at, safe from harm, and free of lint/hair. If the packaging is too much, take solace in the fact that it is recyclable.
