The SpareParts Joque harness is a great gender play harness that is stable and snug but not tight, making it easy for males or females of all experience levels to use. Because it does not come with a dildo, the couple is free to choose any toy they like, making it a very good replacement for people who (like me) bought a combo kit and want or need a replacement harness. Buyers should be warned, however, that the stitched-in O ring is rubber and cannot be replaced. However, it will stretch for larger toys, keeping them snug and giving you great control! Because of the materials this harness is made from, it makes it a great choice for use in any situation or location, including water or shower play.

With a nylon/spandex (77%/23%) blend, the harness is made from swimsuit material, making it very comfortable and breathable for the wearer. The waist and leg straps, which are very forgiving, stay put once properly adjusted, and it's very easy to forget that you're wearing the harness at all. Adjustments to the leg straps are made using plastic adjusters, similar to those found on overalls and were very easy to adjust. Waist adjustments are made using velcro. This is my only disappointment with the harness as the pieces that you move to adjust the waist, when the harness is completely open, are found at about the 4 and 8 o'clock positions, putting them behind you. This makes for a very forgiving and adjustable harness but also requires help for adjustments.

First of all, this harness just looks sexy, on and off! The design, with the exception of the waist adjustment, is very well thought out and well made. The O-ring expands to hold up to a 2" diameter dildo, and the end is covered on the inside by 2 layers of fabric to prevent chafing. I didn't have access to one at the time but feel confident saying that a bullet vibe would also fit inside the enclosure without trouble. The harness comes with a discreet travel bag of the same material, making it easy to carry with you. The one thing that users should be aware of is that, because the O-ring is rubber instead of metal, the harness is machine washable but should not be put in the dryer. This will extend the life of the harness.

This harness comes in two sizes: 20-50" waist is size A or 35-65" waist is size B. I'm not a small girl and was a little worried because the one we were trying is a size A. But after a couple adjustments it fit great, and I wear a size 22 jeans. However, if you wear a size larger than a 22 jeans, you might want to opt for the size B option just to give you added flexibility.

The harness's performance was amazing. It was extremely comfortable in various positions while holding the dildo snug to my body for great control. I was able to do things I'd never been able to do with another harness! This one was right out of the box, and the Magnum silicone dildo slid right into place with little effort, though the material versus silicone did require careful pushing. This was used with a beginner and was given an enthusiastic 2 thumbs up by both of us! After use, I pulled the two strap ends and it fell easily to the floor, not slowing down the fun.

Care of the Joque harness is easy. Throw it in the washer on the delicate cycle or hand wash, then lay flat to dry. Always store in the case provided.

The Joque harness comes in a discreet black box with a paper band around it that has a picture of the harness and is then shrink-wrapped. For a surprise gift, the wrap and paper band can be removed and replaced with ribbon and a bow for adult parties or gift presentation. When you open the box, the harness is inside with instructions and the storage bag in the bottom of the box.
