There are some things that are just perfect from the word go. This is one of those in my opinion. The color, size and texture are very pleasing. I am a big fan of the Radiant Gems collection and this is one of my favorites from the line. With this toy costing less than $12, it is an outstanding value and I recommend it to everyone.

I chose the ribbed in blue. It is the most awesome shade of blue I have ever seen on a sex toy. It is very vibrant and being from the Radiant Gems collection it has a swirling, metallic shimmer to the color as well. For some reason, the color reminds me of Smurf blue, and it has been named that in my collection.

The length of the toy is seven and 1/4 inches. Even though the maximum insertable length is a little over six inches, it does not mean all of that length must be used. There is enough room on the shaft to maintain a firm grip, and still have lots of toy to thrust with. It is almost one and 1/2 inches across in width. This makes the toy an excellent size for the novice or experienced sex toy collector.

This toy in no way resembles a real penis, so maybe this is what Smurf dicks really look like. If so it explains why Smurfs were happy all the time. The tip is slightly rounded but it is not molded to mimic the real thing. It is missile shaped with 24 ribs of pleasure running down the shaft. You can feel them during penetration, but the divisions are not deep enough to allow the body to distinguish each 1/8 inch wide ridge from the next one. Since the material is soft and squishy the ribbing is very comfortable and provides nice sensations when used. I did not notice any discomfort related to the texture no matter how long I used this toy. The toy is flexible and will give when use, but it firm enough to insert and use alone with ease. Since there is not a flared base to keep the toy from being inserted too far, this is not a toy I would recommend for anal play.

Sil-a-Gel does have a distinct scent which this toy does have. In months of having sil-a-gel toys, the scent will fade some but I do not think it ever goes away. I think this is a somewhat good idea, as in the end it will keep the toy from smelling like all the places it has been. Both water and silicone based lubricants can be used with this toy. This material is much safer than jelly, but still feels very similar to it in texture and flexibility. It is manufactured to be antibacterial, and is latex and cadmium (cancer causing metal, that is used in some PVC toys) free. Still, a using a condom will make this toy even safer to use, and prolong the life span of the toy. I did find that using a condom with this particular toy can reduce some of the sensation that the ridges provide. If you are going to be a rebel, and use a porous toy with out a condom, I do feel that this is a much safer choice than regular jelly.

The biggest flaw with this toy is that it is a lint magnet. This is easily resolved rinsing the toy with warm water before using it. Washing the toy after use is very easy. It can be submerged in a sink of warm water and washed with antibacterial soap or toy cleaner. You must be sure to rub thoroughly between the ridges to ensure that all residue and fluids are completely removed. Please allow the toy to completely dry before storing. When it is stored it is not allowed to touch other toys to prevent damage to this toy or your others.

My partner and I both enjoy this toy when using it on me. The size is about as perfect as it could be. It is filling and stretches me, but is never painful. The flexibility allows me to angle it to where I want and the texture is like the best ribbed for her pleasure condom you ever tried, only intensified. The segments are the right thickness to provide feeling with out being irritating. I find this to be a big plus, as some textured toys are prone to doing just that to me.

This toy feels great when used in every position we used it in. It is also very fun to take to the bath or shower.
