BACKSTORY:
We used this toy for a first time experience. I had no idea what to do with a cock strapped to me, and I didn't want to, you know, spear her. She didn't really know what silicone was like (if it was going to be too firm, too soft), and it worked really well for what we needed to do with it.

SHAPE:
My favorite part was that it didn't really LOOK like a penis, which was nice because it was my fist experience and I didn't really want to have a penis, and she didn't really want to be penetrated by one (lesbians, amirite?). It is however the perfect type of phallic. The head is just right for a beginner, bulbous but not overwhelming, just enough to add shape to what would otherwise be a stick. The swirl pattern is actually very pretty and unassuming. I should however note that there is a very little nick at the top of ours. Probably where they poured the mold, the sides and bottom are completely smooth and the tiny hole does not affect intercourse. We are slightly concerned about sanitation, but it's never gotten in the way of anything. Occasionally, when we're getting too excited, it comes out easily, partially because it's small, but it's mostly due to being overzealous.

EASE OF USE:
The base is a little smaller; we've bought other strap-on compatible dildos since and they all have a really big almost medallion bottom. This has just enough of a flare that it will fit most harnesses, but isn't overwhelmingly enormous. I actually liked that a lot. There was more intimacy because I didn't have a 1/4 inch of rubber between us. As with all silicone, it's easy to clean and totally safe. With other materials I'm worried about how porous they might be, and this is perfectly smooth, which was great for the first time. Unfortunately silicone lube won't work with the toy, but that's nothing a standard condom won't fix.
It does not smell other than RIGHT out of the box, and that comes off with a quick rinse. But you wash your underpants before wearing them, too, right?

EPILOGUE:
We still use it regularly. When it was my turn to try, we used it on me for awhile (which is a big deal) and then moved up from there (which is a much bigger deal). We also use this one exclusively for anal sex, for which it is practically perfect because it is small enough to be comfortable but large enough to be effective. It's also smooth which makes an enormous difference for anal sex. Once again though, condoms with silicone lube, or water based anal lube. We also still use it when we're getting warmed up for the bigger ones (and the small base makes it easy to change in the heat of the moment).

In all, this is a pretty awesome multitasker. There's nothing particularly wrong with it, and while it's small, most people need a small dildo for various things. We sure did.
