Isis silicone dildo - double ended dildo discontinued by Luxotiq - review by Kayla

The Luxotiq Isis is a beautiful silicone dildo. In fact, its shape alone is what led me to choose it to do a review on. It's nine and a half inches long. Both ends have g-spot curves. One end has a small diameter (1 inch) and a more extreme curve while the end that has a less extreme curve is girthier at an inch and a half. It comes in a soft pink that is, in real-life, as beautiful as it is in the pictures. There are some visible seams where it appears the two halves of the silicone were put together, but it's nothing that sticks out nor will be noticed during use. Since this is silicone, it is non-porous and phthalates-free.

The packaging is one of my favorite aspects about the Luxotiq Isis. It includes a beautiful box that ties shut with a ribbon. Inside the box, the dildo will sit in foam that's been lined with satin. The Isis also comes with a business card with information as well as a beautiful soft cleaning cloth.

The dildo itself seems to be well-constructed. Aside from the seam, the rest of it just "screams" luxury at its owner. It looks nearly flawless and works just as nicely. It was created to be used vaginally for g-spot pleasure, and it definitely does that job great. Since this doesn't have a flared base, it shouldn't be used anally. (Its large size would make it difficult to get it "eaten", but I still wouldn't recommend it.)

Since the Luxotiq Isis is made of silicone, it does have a bit of give to it. It's bendy enough to be comfortable for all women's anatomies while still staying firm enough to give pleasure to the g-spot. I personally found the extreme "curve" of the smaller end to be more pleasurable for my g-spot, but for someone who enjoys large amounts of pressure and girth on their g-spot, the larger end would work better. I preferred thrusting with it, but any type of movement should go over well with this gorgeous dildo.

Because this is made of silicone and its girth will tend to drag on the skin, I recommend using lubricant when you go to use this toy. If not, it could tend to be a little painful unless you are used to large silicone toys.

It does sell itself as a double-ended dildo, but I'm quite sure this wouldn't work well with double-insertion. Because of its short size, there won't be enough of the toy to actually feel pleasurable.

Silicone is an easy material to take care of. It can also be shared between partners. If you want to share it, I recommend throwing it in some boiled water for three minutes. For regular cleaning use, some warm water and anti-bacterial soap should do wonders for it. Because this is silicone, silicone-based lubricant is a no-no. Use water-based lubricant with it instead.

Overall, I'm extremely fond of the Isis - if only for the packaging. (I'm a sucker for packaging.) The use of the dildo does fit the luxurious look of the packaging as well. It does exactly what it claims to do and works amazingly for beginners and advanced users alike because of the two different ends. The two different ends also give you two different ways to pleasure your g-spot. I completely recommend this to anyone who is looking to find or continue to pleasure their g-spot.

Because of the soft feel of silicone, it would be possible to have your partner help you play with this one without fearing about too much pain. It's generally just a great dildo, and I'm really happy to own it.

I rarely use the Isis anymore in favor of my Pure Wand, but it's still a good, handy dildo that I'll pull out when I want some a little bit softer than the stainless steel of the Pure Wand. It hasn't broken nor bent, and it looks exactly like when I first got it on day one. I take good care of it by keeping it in the original storage box, so that might have something to do with it as well.

I know this has gotten a lot of positive reviews from other reviewers as well, and I'm really happy I own it for a change of pace from my other g-spot toys. The only fault I can still find is that it just doesn't provide quite as firm of g-spot pleasure as the Pure Wand or more firm toys do, but it's unique and pleasurable in its own way.
