The Raptor is definitely a toy for the size queens (and kings) among us. I wouldn't recommend getting it out unless you have time to work up to it, it can be quite a stretch. The Raptor can be used any way you would use a standard dildo, from thrusting to clutching it with your internal muscles while you use other toys. In fact, the head of the dildo is slightly wider, then it narrows toward the base, making it almost ideal for holding onto with those kegals. It's best not to forget how long it is, however, because it's very easy to hit the cervix with it. It's safe for use anally, as well, due to its balls and the flared base.

Of coarse, let's not forget what is perhaps my favorite use for it; the Raptor can also be strapped on for partnered fun.

Because it's silicone, it can be used anywhere your heart desires. The size of the toy doesn't really make it very travel friendly, however, and I had a time hiding mine.

The head of the dildo is nice and smooth, providing for smoother penetration, then the shaft of the toy has a nice matte texture. There is also some absolutely lovely vein detail on the shaft, giving it a more realistic appearance and feel. The matte texture provides more stimulation, but that can mean that you will need more lube. Over all though, the texture makes it feel more skin-like. The dildo itself is firm silicone, with very little give. I would recommend a smoother toy for a first toy, but if you already know what you might like, this toy will work for anyone.

Because it is silicone, it doesn't have a scent or a flavor. It isn't porous, so it won't hold onto any dirt. It has enough give to move and bend, but it is fairly rigid and won't have any problem penetrating.

I love the design of the Raptor, and yet I can see that what I love could be seen as a slight problem. The fact that it's thicker toward the head of the shaft makes it easier to grip it without accidentally forcing it back out, but it can also make the initial penetration a little more difficult. The fact that it's thicker toward the head also made it easier for me to hit my g-spot with it, although anatomy and results may vary. The size of the Raptor makes it truly a daunting toy, best suited for those who like to be filled. It could cause pain for people who aren't used to that much of a stretch or haven't prepared enough. It has a fairly realistic look, but the color makes it look more whimsical than real. It isn't the least bit discreet, so I really wouldn't recommend taking it on a plane, or anywhere you might want to hide it.

I love the shape of this toy, the size makes it inconvenient for quick sessions though. However, it is perfect when I have time and want a really filling toy. The fact that silicone is such a massive lint magnet detracts from the toy, though, because I spend more time trying to get it clean than I do using it. Although it is harness compatible, I don't own a harness that I can get it into, so I can't vouch for how it performs in a harness. It seems like it would be a little tricky to get into the harness, but the base seems firm enough to hold it once it's in.

The Raptor gets the same care that any silicone toy would get. It is dishwasher safe, it can be sterilized by boiling it for three minutes or wiping it down with a 10% bleach solution, or you can just use antibacterial soap or toy cleaner and warm water. As I mentioned before, it is a serious lint magnet, so if you dry it, be sure to use a lint free rag. Mine managed to pick up lint even from that, so if you have an old dish drainer, or something similar, it would be best to let it air dry.

The only type of lube you should use with this toy is water based lube. Storage becomes a bit of an issue with this one, I keep mine in it's original packaging, but it is a very large box. I've had to store it separate from my other toys because it wouldn't fit in my toy bag. It is well worth it, though, and I hope to find a better storage method soon.
