She Had (OK...HAS) Dildo Envy!

The minute this came out of the box Mrs. Scotch had designs on it. She loves the curve and the flexibility. So what if it was purchased for pegging, she knew this would work amazingly for g-spotting. Mr. Scotch held his ground, and his dildo. Mrs. Scotch relented after hearing how much Mr. Scotch enjoyed his Compact. He was rather loud in his praise. But one day, while Mr. Scotch was at work, Mrs. Scotch super-cleaned Compact and gave it a try. Low and behold, she was right!

Use

We purchased Compact by Tantus to use for our first time pegging. This is not by any means the only use for Compact. In fact, Mrs. Scotch had completely separate designs for Compact from the moment the package was opened.

Compact can be used vaginally or anally. Just remember, don't go back to vaginal after anal during the same play time unless you used a condom. Compact does have a flared disk end which provides safety for anal. Compact is o-ring compatible, it can be used in a harness. Compact can also be used by hand either solo or with a partner.

Due to the smaller length and girth of this toy, 4" insertable length and 1" diameter, we find it well suited for anal. Mrs. Scotch says it is also great for g-spotting, if you don't need a lot of pressure.

This toy is waterproof, so it can be used anywhere you feel comfortable using it. We were going to say anywhere you want to use it, but well...that would open up a whole other can of worms.

Material / Texture

Compact by Tantus is made of silicone. Silicone is rated a 10 for material safety. This is the highest rating on the Eden scale. Silicone is food-grade, hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous and phthalates free. Compact can be sterilized.

There was no smell to Compact when we took it out of the packaging. There was no taste to it either.

This is not a realistic dildo. Compact does have a head, but this is where any brush with realism stops, at least in our experience. Compact comes in either black, red or pink. We chose red. Compact is shiny and silky smooth with a slight drag. We did not need lube vaginally, but lube is highly recommended for anal insertion. Just be careful with the amount as Compact becomes very slippery quickly.

Compact is very flexible, it will easily bend in half. This flexibility was reason #1 for Mrs. Scotch's dildo envy. Compact is also pretty firm, it can only be squeezed slightly with a fair amount of pressure.

Compact Flexibility

Compact is slightly textured. It could easily be used by someone without experience with textured dildos. The top of Compact's curve is smooth and the bottom has three ridges under the head. These ridges provide extra stimulation when g-spotting, p-spotting or pegging with Compact.

Design / Shape / Size

Compact is just that, compact. Compact could easily be used by a dildo novice either vaginally or anally. It is small in girth and insertible length. This was what we were looking for in a first time pegging dildo. The size worked well for this.

Length : 5"
Insertable length : 4"
Circumference : 3"
Diameter : 1"

Compact

Compact has a fairly pronounced curve. Mrs. Scotch says even an experienced dildo user could benefit from the way the curve hits the g-spot as long as you do not need firm pressure. This is reason #2 for Mrs. Scotch's dildo envy. She saw this and immediately started thinking about g-spotting, not pegging. Mr. Scotch pulled her back from the edge quickly. Later, he promised.

it's curved

Compact is smooth on the top of the curve and as stated, has three ridges below the head on the bottom of the curve. The positioning of these ridges on the underside aids in directing the curve to the spot you want it to hit. When lubricated, compact will turn on you if not in a harness. These ridges are clearly felt, especially anally. They are also a great tool for stroking. It is easy to tell how far out you are pulling the dildo by how many bumps are visible. For a novice pegger, like Mrs Scotch, this makes thrusting much, much easier. Before Mrs. Scotch realized this "trick" she kept having to reinsert, killing the moment. After, things went much more smoothly.

ridges

This toy is not realistic, however it is clearly a bright red dildo, albeit a smaller one. We would not at all consider this item to be discreet. It looks very much like what it is. We do, however, feel that we would travel with this in our checked baggage. We are fairly certain that TSA inspectors have seen more than their share of sex toys, and many of them much more interesting than Compact, even if it is bright red.

Performance

We loved Compact. It performed well for us.

Compact fit into our new SpareParts joque harness easily and securely. Flexibility is a bit of an issue on insertion with the harness, but even Mrs. Scotch, a novice pegger, easily overcome this by using her hand to guide Compact at insertion. This is how Mrs. Scotch came to notice the ridges made a great reference point for thrusting.

When playing without a harness insertion is a bit of an issue as well, also due to the flexibility. Just watch those ridges and don't let it slip out.

As stated, the ridges added to the pleasure as did the curved shape, both for pegging and for g-spotting. You do need to be aware of the direction of the curve when pegging and g-spotting, but Compact is flexible enough that it should not cause pain or injury if misdirected. Compact gets very slippery when lubricated so it will turn on you very easily if not in a harness. Watch the ridges and you'll know which way the curve is pointed. It just feels better when the curve hits you just right.

Care and Maintenance

Compact is easy to clean, you can use soap and water or a toy cleaner. If you want to sterilize Compact because you want to share, or just because, you can. Sterilize Compact by boiling it for three minutes, wiping it down with a 10% bleach solution or washing it in the top rack of the dishwasher.

Compact is silicone, so it does not play well with silicone lube. Use water based lube.

Compact can easily be stored in the clam shell it came in, this is what we are doing now. If space is an issue a toy bag or even a ziplock baggie will work well. Compact does not do well with being stored next to other silicone toys, please keep them separated for their own safety. Storing them next to each other could cause degradation of your toys.

Packaging

Compact comes to you in a rectangular clear plastic box. Inside the box, Compact is in a plastic clam shell case. This clam shell can easily be re-used for storage. We are currently storing Compact in it's box.

The box is not at all discreet. You can clearly see Compact through the packaging.

package

The package has the usual Company information on Tantus. One panel states "What makes Tantus toys the best...", followed by, well, what makes Tantus toys the best. They are safe, high quality and pleasurable. We can't disagree.

Compact did not come with instructions. We did not need any. It's pretty much self explanatory.

Experience

We have enjoyed Compact. We were very leery looking at dildos for our foray into pegging. Mr. Scotch is fairly new to anal play and didn't want anything with a lot of girth. This looked like it would do the trick. Mr. Scotch loudly confirmed this on Compact's maiden voyage.

Mrs. Scotch did indeed steal Mr. Scotch's dildo. It hit her g-spot perfectly. Not really wanting to share, she is insisting on her own. It should arrive any day now.

We are giving this one 5 stars! This toy will certainly get a lot of use here by us Scotch Luvrs. We'll have us a wee dram, pull out our wee dildo and have fun, fun, fun...till daddy moans the wee ones awake. Sorry we couldn't resist.

Great review. Does this one stay put if you use it for P spotting during sex?

    Thanks Trysexual!
Don't know......haven't used it that way. Based on how slick it gets and the fact that the shaft is the same circumference from tip to base...we'd say no. It'd probably slide right out...especially if there was any muscle contractions at all back there. Mr says slide might even be an understatement...shoot might be a better word.
