The Crystal Jellies Classic Royal Dildo is a jelly toy. Made out of poly vinyl chloride, jelly materials are also flexible, making them ideal for adult play. Because this dildo is flexible, it is easier to handle than stiffer toys.

The toy has a rubbery, almost sticky feel to it and when brand new, has a strong scent. Sometimes, this scent can remain after several washings. Unlike glass, the surface of this dildo is rubbery and some may find it difficult to use without a lubricant. When selecting a lubricant to use with this dildo, only choose a water or silicone based lubricant. Avoid oil!

Coming in at 10 inches long and 5 ½ inches around, this toy is impressively big. Those not accustomed to larger toys or penetration may be intimidated by the girth of this toy. The packaging for this dildo was semi-hard to soft plastic (what is typical of mass, clear packaged electronics) and molded loosely to the dildo. In the process of getting it open, the packaging tore and was no longer able to be used. This product was not packaged discreetly at all, so it is best to open it in privacy and when you are able to dispose of the ‘evidence’. Despite the obvious packaging, the shipping box was discreet and well packed, which was par to Eden’s usual shipping standards.

When I first found this dildo, I really debated getting it because I generally do not get anything below a safety rating of 7, preferably 8. However, my desire to replace my old dildo finally won out and I got it. It was a bit bigger than I expected which was quite an adjustment for me personally. Also, it had a very strong smell, which was difficult to get to a tolerable level. When I consider the smell and the uncomfortable size, I don’t think this is a toy I’ll be using much. However, for those who can get rid of the smell or doesn’t mind and for those users who are happier with thicker dildos, this will probably be ideal. Function wise it does the job perfectly and is a great example of an inexpensive and very filling dildo.
