Wanda is a versatile dildo that can be enjoyed anally and vaginally. It's green and has a cute little face but don't underestimate Wanda's abilities!

Use

Wanda by Fun Factory is a lovely bright green, curvy dildo made of 100% silicone. Wanda can be enjoyed by anyone who wants a body safe dildo appropriate for vaginal and anal play. Wanda has a great flared base that doubles as a suction cup which works quite well. This is a great dildo to use for solo play and partner play and would be a great warm up toy for anal sex. The curved tip of Wanda can also be used to stimulate your g spot, but the material is flexible enough that it doesn't provide firm pressure if that is what you need for your g spot.

Material / Texture

Wanda is made of 100% silicone that is smooth and slightly squishy. There was absolutely no odor or taste to Wanda when I first removed it from the box and there continues to be none. There are 3 raised rings separated by smooth portions that range from 1 inch to 2 inches in length. These rings remind me of milder versions of anal beads. They are subtle and gently felt during vaginal stimulation and more pronounced feeling for anal stimulation. The texture is mild enough that I would recommend it more for beginners than advanced users. There is also a raised texture of eyes and eyebrows on the tip, but they are also subtle and really can't be felt in my opinion.

Design / Shape / Size

Wanda has a tri-lobed base that doubles as a suction cup and curves like a stretched out 'M' that tapers to a smaller size as you get closer to the tip. The tapering is really great for initial insertion, especially if you are using this anally. When using Wanda vaginally, however, it is a little bit on the small side. Wanda is 6.5 inches long with 5.5 inches of that being insertable. At the largest portion, Wanda is 4.5 inches in circumference, which is smaller than a lot of other dildos. With the small size, Wanda is ideal for beginners.

Performance

I love the color and suction cup of Wanda. The material is smooth and wonderful but quite slippery once you apply the lube (water based lube, NO SILICONE BASED please). In order to thoroughly test the suction cup, I took Wanda around the house and randomly stuck it to things. I can attest to fact that Wanda stick quite well to the shower wall, the bath tub, the toilet, the mirror (floor length...could be a fun session..), the tv (flat portion only), the refrigerator, the window (helloooo neighbor!), and the coffee table. Wanda did not stick to wooden doors, the oven, or any fabric covered materials. When you remove Wanda to wherever you have stuck it, there is a wonderfully satisfying 'pop' of the suction seal breaking. The EF page says that Wanda is harness O-ring compatible. I do not have a harness, so we're just going to have to take their word for it! It looks like it would work quite well in a harness, though I'm not sure if you would want to point the curved tip down or up.

Care and Maintenance

Wanda is made of silicone, so care is easy. Wanda can be cleaned with soap and water, a 10% bleach solution or by boiling in water. If you are using Wanda for anal play, please sterilize it before using it vaginally again. Wanda should not be used with any silicone based lubes and should have little to no contact with other silicone toys. If Wanda does come in contact with silicone? You may end up with a damaged toy. Since Wanda needs to be kept away from other toys and tends to attract lint and hair, I recommend storing it in a toy bag of some type or a Ziploc in a pinch. I have had my Wanda out sitting on my dresser for easy access and because I think it's cute. I do have to wash before use (dog owner) to get rid of any excess hair or dust, but I would wash it anyways, so its no big deal.

Packaging

Wanda came in a standard Fun Factory box with an opening to allow you to see the dildo which is inside two plastic pieces inside the box. Included in the box was a packet of Toyfluid lubricant and a pamphlet on Fun Factory's other products.

Experience

When I used Wanda, I would first apply some lube (water based) and then insert with the curved tip pointing up. I primarily used Wanda as a dildo for vaginal stimulation. I found that, though small, Wanda's curved body provided a more full feeling than I expected. I really enjoyed thrusting with Wanda because the tip would rub against my g spot without and concern for large heads hitting the pubic bone. The silicone material warms up to your body temperature and feels quite nice. If you want to warm it up or cool it down before use, just run water that is the temp you want over it long enough for it to absorb that temp.

The best part of the experience though was setting a vibrator against Wanda while it's inserted. The silicone transfers the vibrations nicely and I found I could use a vibrator on my clit that was long enough to reach the vibe to get that extra sensation. Another plus to Wanda's small size was that I could twist and move Wanda around comfortably while the vibrator was against it allowing for lots of stimulation in different places.

I did try to use Wanda anally as well. Honestly it was kind of awkward once I put the lube on. I'm very much a beginner in anal play and began by warming myself up. Once I felt ready for Wanda I lubed it up and got ready for insertion. I relaxed, exhaled, and moved the tip up, but the lube kept it super slippery and hard to grip. The other problem I had was the slight flexibility of Wanda that really required me to be completely relaxed to be able to insert. I didn't get much more than past the first raised section, but more because I was frustrated with the lube and lack of grip than anything else. I definitely intend to persevere and conquer Wanda.

As I mentioned in an earlier section, I tested Wanda's suction cup on multiple surfaces. When that suction cup works, it REALLY works and when it doesn't, you'll know. When I placed it on surfaces I would tug and pull on it, bat it around like a cat and the only way to remove it was by either pulling really hard on the body or lifting the edge of one of the tri-lobes on the base. Pulling on the body kind of freaked me out. It doesn't feel weak, but I was worried about tearing it and then it really wouldn't be safe for anal play. I definitely recommend removal at the base, just to preserve the life of your toy. If Wanda isn't going to stick it won't even pretend to try. You may as well have just set it down without even trying to engage the suction. As you can see, Wanda can wander just about anywhere in your home that you might want to try it out.
