Ribbed twister - dildo discontinued by EdenFantasys - review by MamaDivine

After purchasing my first (smaller) glass toy, I had a pretty good run with it. I wasn't usually into glass, but that one really had my hopes up for another glass toy. So, I purchased this one. I think I went a little overboard and seriously overestimated how much this toy would do for me!

The Ribbed Twister is a glass, swirled, smooth, dildo. It is 9 1/4 inches in length, with 5 1/4 inches insertable. I would have preferred a much greater length for insertion, but its not that big of a deal for me. Im more about girth anyhow. The Ribbed Twister weighs just under 10 ounces so it does have a good weight to it.

There is a long handle at the end of this toy, which makes for a pretty good grip. There is a very nice, spaced out swirl pattern that runs from just under the head down to the "stopper" of the dildo. The swirly pattern on this isn't as raised as my other one, and its a much smoother "ride". The "Stopper" is about half way down the dildo. This begins the "handle" At the very bottom of the dildo is a small ball that makes for a much better grip on the toy. This toy comes with a gorgeous red, velvety, drawstring pouch. Although its pretty and soft, it sheds off red lint everywhere and isn't padded, so that was a negative for me. If it were padded, I would have been more excited about this. It provides "shelter" against the elements in my toy drawer, but it does not provide padding and safe keeping as far as banging up against other things in there.

The Swirls on this toy are very pretty and the blue and gold adds an elegant look. The Ribbed Twister has a slightly curved head on it, for G Spot stimulation. I found that this curve just wasn't enough for my G Spot. Yes, it hit it, but it wasn't anything explosive in the way of sensations. I would have preferred that there be nubs or swirls on the head as well as the shaft.

I love the temperature play factor with these. Glass toys can retain their temperature for quite a while. I want to say that this toy was able to retain its temperature for about 25 minutes. If you hold a glass toy under hot or cold water, the toy will retain that temperature, making for a very interesting play time! If you have never experimented with temperature play, I would definitely try this. I am not one to like too much cold on my genitals, so I will use the warmer temperatures. I hold my glass toy under the water for about 5 or 10 minutes. You can also put this toy in the microwave for faster heating, though I prefer the water method.

Because glass is non porous, this makes it super safe from any kind of bacteria forming within the toy itself. It is super easy to clean too. This toy can be boiled and put in the dishwasher.

Lubricants that can be used with this toy is water, oil and silicone based. With glass toys you do not have to worry about chemical reactions with other toys or lubricants. Though, I would highly suggest only using a very minimal amount of lubricant with this toy. The glass can become extremely slippery if too much is used.

I have to say that, even though I loved my first glass toy, this one continues to disappoint me. It feels good, but it just cannot get me to the point of climax. I have had it for quite a while now (2+ years) and I haven't purchased another glass toy since. This one just totally turned me off to glass.
