Black ruffled garter belt - garters discontinued by Coquette - review by WhirlingStars

This garter makes my second one, but most certainly not the last one I'll ever get. I have only an industrial garter that's unisex to compare it too that I got from Sockdreams. This one I got because of how cute it is and for it's reasonable price tag! I was a tad worried of how it would fit due to my rather wide set of hips I have, I'm a 16-20 depending on the brand. Once I had them out and within minutes of opening the package, I knew it was the beginning of a wonderful relationship.

It has a band in the back that you can tighten or loosen to fit and it is really stretchy to boot! I tried them on with my only pair of thin thigh highs and the garter works fine, but I need better thigh highs. I had only an old pair that was rolled up to begin with; my other pairs are knit and thick, in which they go with my industrial garters. The garter was a tad difficult to snap onto the socks in the back, but that's all garters I have such problems with. Turning around and trying to attach them. You could use this garter for definite bedroom play or under a more fluffy skirt, tight skirts wouldn't go due to the ruffles on the garter might press and cause bumps? That's just me after all, for a tighter skirt I'd advise getting ones without such embellishments.

Now the garters are made out of mesh and a poly/nylon mix, I plan on hand washing and hanging to dry since I don't wish to ruin the ruffles at all. I'm nervous that the mesh might wear down quicker if I put it in with the wash. When not in use I just have it in my underwear drawer since it wont/doesn't get kinks in it. I mean it's mesh and elastic materials, you at least don't have to worry about that.

Experience, now I just feel like a cute little cupcake in this garter belt. It's soft and not too tight or anything. I know most of the lingerie on here have you wearing thongs and g-strings(aren't they the same basically?) Well... I rather wear a basic satiny panty that isn't too flashy as to not clash with my ruffles, but light lace wont hurt. I had to draw the garters up all the way at their shortest because I'm barely 5'2''. This cute garter is really comfy and I can see myself wearing it it for a long time without feeling awkward about the stockings slipping or anything of the sort.

I'm still feeling love for this garter belt! The ruffles are standing up to wear, and there are no signs of fraying yet! I suggest this garter for all lingerie enthusiasts out there.
