Pirates Jesse Jane's smoking pistol - rabbit vibrator by Digital Playground - review by *Huxley*

Usually I go for straight-shooters when buying a vibe, but something called to me with this one. Dual action for your clit and g spot, beads, texture, shiny rhinestones; she tis' a beaut and she is loaded! There are a ton of features to appeal to just about everyone. I will attempt to hit on some of the main targets.

The Pistol is made from pliable, deep pink, 100% Medical grade TPE (Thermoplastic elastomer). There is a bit of drag from the material. It is soft, shiny, and thin. It lends itself well to the moving parts, letting you take advantage of the rotating beads inside. There is a ton of texture. Not a single part of the insertable unit has been forgotten. It also boasts a velvety-covered, crystal enhanced handle.

There was little to no odor upon first impression. The Pistol is also void of any taste.

As I rifle through this, bear with me. There is a lot going on with this vibe.
Starting with the top you will find beading around the tip of the bend, topping it off with a floral opening.

Down around the bend is a cluster of swirly, whimsical, floral/shell designs that meet to a more translucent pink. This is also where you can see the 4 groups of pearls inside.
This area is smooth, but where the deep pink reaches below again you will find more beading. Down from that you will be greeted with a textured portrait of a skull.

The attached flint-stock clit stimulator is reminiscent of the classic bullet shape, with 1 solid tickler. It is flat and rounded, and has 2 attached circle shapes on the top. The shape is reminiscent of an infinite loop. There is also a rounded nub above the crease where the stem of the Pistol and the Flint-stock meet.

Below the stem of the Pistol, you will encounter the soft, plastic-covered ABS handle. Two rows of rhinestones greet you before you find your way to the back lit control pad.
There is red Victorian designs on both sides; these really finish the overall design and feel to the unit.
The highly textured Pistol stem is 6.5" insertable length. The Pistol has a 5" Circumference and just over a 1.5" diameter.
The flint-stock is 3.5" long, reaching about half way up the stem. The flint stock has a 4" circumference with just over a 1" diameter.

On the handle you will find a single recessed on/off button, as well as back-lit illuminated control buttons.
There is a variety of settings.

The button on the left controls the flint-stock clit stimulator, and has seven different settings ranging from light vibration to strong vibration.
1: Steady high - 2 vroom
2: Steady high - 3 vroom
3: Steady high - 4 vroom
4: Low vibrations working their way to high vibrations - 2 to 3 vroom (Makes a feeling as if the vibrations are going back and forth from the stem back to the clit. Very cool circling action.)
5: High 3 vroom pulse (1 second each pulse)
6: 2 vroom pulse(.5 second), 2 vroom pulse(.5 second), steady vroom (3 second)
7: Super-sonic, fast, high 3 vroom pulses
The button on the right controls the shaft rotation (the pearls), which spin and swirl in five different settings.
1: Low rotation
2: Low rotation with more sway
3: Medium rotation with sway
4: High rotation with mediocre sway
5: Higher rotation with more sway to the stem

There is no way to turn off the vibrations on one side or the other. It is somewhat loud. The noise is mostly from the rotation of the beads and is muffled once inserted. The flint-stock clit stimulator barely emits any noise. Most of the noise can be lightly heard from outside of your covers but not your door.

A really cool feature is how the batteries are inserted. Instead of fighting with a flimsy slide-off compartment, the battery pack is actually removable.

Here is where you will insert 4 AAA's.

It slides back on on railings, and the bottom just twists back on. I love this!

TPE cleaning is finicky. Unfortunately, while being splash proof, the Pistol is not waterproof. Since TPE is porous it cannot be fully sterilized. There are a lot of nooks for bacteria to hide on the Pistol, so washing is very important. To safely clean the Pistol, use warm soapy water or toy cleaner. Wipe down, rinse, repeat, and let air dry.

Always keep your toys completely clean, dry, and battery-less when storing.
Water and silicone-based lubricants should be used with TPE toys. Since TPE holds onto bacteria, use condoms when switching orifices to fend off bacteria and UTI's.

The pistol comes in a HUGE package. Most of this packaging is a glossy cardboard backing with an attached clear plastic box. You are able to see three sides of the toy though this viewable rectangle. Inside will house only the toy and a satin bag.

The only real drawback to the Pistol is that piston drive, which makes the shaft thrust in and out, is really too weak. When I start to orgasm the shaft has a tendency to lock up and not work as my vaginal muscles begin to tighten. It also is not a beginner’s sex toy. Since it is rather large, it can be quite intimidating.

Let me say that the Pistol is not easy to insert. You really need to be generous with lube to get started. That being said, attempting to insert the curved stem takes a bit of practice, and the overall experience can be daunting. It's a hook and curve insertion. Tilting the bend to insert straight up, and then dropping the pistol flat and push upwards is the best I can do to describe the act. Once the Pistol is in your vagina it will feel amazingly full. Sadly, you really have to be atomically compatible for this to give you the best stimulation. I, however, was not built to fit this toy.

The vibrations throughout all feel too similar. I couldn't tell much difference from medium to high, nor the difference between the rotation speed of the pearls. I also couldn't find a compatible pattern that fit my needs perfectly. The vibrations that the Pistol lends are strong, which I love. The fact that they did not live up to my liking was not only frustrating, but ineffective. Hitting the g-spot was natural, and the Pistol's ability to do so was perfect. Hitting my clit with the flint-stock clit stimulator (while achieving g-spot stimulation), on the other hand, was difficult. It didn't line up well with my clit. It was either too high on my clit, or too low. I couldn't get the g-spot hook to line up at the same time as the flint-stock clit stimulator. To the best of my ability I tried to make this toy work. What I found worked best was to let the Pistol rest in my lady nether regions and pulling upwards on the top of the flint-stock clit stimulator while laying down flat. This really was the only thing I could do to have the Pistol work property for me.

If you don't necessarily need strong clit stimulation, then this will work great for you. For me, not so much. That doesn't make this a bad toy. The build, quality, and vibrational patterns are great. It just wasn't made for me.
