G4 elegance - g-spot vibrator by Fun Factory - review by Girly Juice

The Fun Factory G4 Elegance is a waterproof, rechargeable, silicone and plastic vibrator intended for vaginal insertion. Its pointy tip can also be used to stimulate the clitoris, nipples, frenulum, perineum, and other erogenous zones. It should not be inserted anally because its base isn't flared enough for that to be safe.

Because this toy has a fairly large girth (1 5/8"), I would not recommend that penetration newbies try it.

The handle of the Elegance is made of hard plastic, which is smooth, glossy, and lovely to touch. The outside is white and the inside of the loop is silver.

The silicone that makes up the majority of the toy's surface has a strange texture. It has much more drag than any other silicone I've encountered, to the point that it feels almost bumpy. I have to use a lot of lube with this toy to get it to feel comfortable, and I often have to reapply mid-session.

The silicone is squishy and has a little bit of bend to it, a rarity among vibrators like this. This makes insertion more comfortable (when properly lubed, of course!) and also means that the toy doesn't always feel quite as girthy as it is.

I don't notice any smells or tastes on either of these materials. They seem to be high quality and are definitely body-safe.

The Elegance has quite an odd shape, one that's hard to describe. The thick, cylindrical shaft narrows to a pointed tip, but it does this in an asymmetrical way. Some people might find this shape uncomfortable and might need to rotate the toy a few degrees to the right to make it feel okay.

One of the benefits of this shape, however, is that the majority of the toy's 1 5/8" girth is horizontal, not vertical. Vertical girth is the kind that usually causes discomfort and/or pain, so even though this toy is girthier than I usually prefer, I found myself able to use it fairly comfortably.

The asymmetrical shape results in a ridge that runs along the top of the toy, but this ridge is too subtle to be felt in use.

The toy has a slight upward curve, but it's really not enough to access most people's G-spots. Any G-spot stimulation this toy provides will come from its girth and its vibrations.

The "Loop of Love" is easy to hold onto and thrust with. It fits two of my fingers just about perfectly.

I love the design of this toy and the other G4 toys. Fun Factory is known for offering unusual colors that other companies don't dare use, and I really appreciate that. The toy's design is streamlined, modern, and cute.

It's obvious that this is a phallic vibrator, so it's not exactly discreet or suitable for travel.

The Elegance has three buttons on its control panel: one to increase the vibrations, one to decrease them, and one to switch to a different pattern. These are easy to find, understand, and use.

The patterns are nothing particularly exciting or groundbreaking: just the same types of pulses and waves that come standard on many vibrators.

The vibrations are amazingly strong - the strongest I've ever found in a vibrator that doesn't plug into the wall. The higher settings on this toy actually rival my Hitachi and Bodywand with ease.

The vibrations transmit nicely into the tip of the toy, so it can be used for clitoral stimulation - though the bulk of the vibrations are focused more toward the middle of the shaft, where they are optimum for stimulating the G-spot and vaginal opening.

The toy is fairly quiet, considering how strong it is, but it's definitely not silent. Someone in the same room would be able to hear it.

It's completely waterproof so it can be taken in the shower or bath without any problems.

The silicone part of the Elegance can be wiped down with a 10% bleach solution to sterilize. For everyday cleaning, soap and water will do just fine. Though this toy is waterproof, you should not boil it or run it through the dishwasher, as this may damage the machinery inside.

As with any silicone toy, avoid using silicone-based lube with this one. Water-based works just fine, though you may need to reapply occasionally.

Silicone toys are prone to collecting lint, so I'd recommend you store this in a lint-free bag or box - or just give it a rinse before each use.
