Chip off the ol' vibrator

The metallic massager is a traditional looking slimline vibrator. It can be used for vaginal penetration, or to stimulate the clit. Since this toy does not have a flared base, I don't advise using it for anal play. I think this toy is most suitable for most beginners, but not those who are strangers to penetration.

The massager is made out of plastic, which is non-porous and gets an 8 out of 10 on Eden's material safety scale. You can clean it with soap and water, by using toy cleaner, or by wiping it down with rubbing alcohol. Plastic is completely rigid and has no give at all, so be careful when thrusting with this toy.

This toy has a lot of etching along the shaft that I assume is supposed to be pleasurable. I couldn't really feel it during use, but it did cause increased friction and irritation when used vaginally for a long time, and when being a bit rough with it.

The design is simple; just your classic vibrator. It is on the slimmer side, having a diameter of 1.25 inches, so it won't please any size queens if used internally. It's also 6.5 inches long, with 5.5 inches being insertable, so it may not please those who like bigger toys lengthwise either. However, it's about perfect for beginners and intermediate toy users, though it might be a little big for some.

The vibration is controlled by a dial on the bottom of the toy. After inserting two C batteries and screwing on the cap (but not too tightly; it will pop back off if tightened too much), just turn the dial and let the good times roll! The vibrations are definitely strongest in the tip, but they do travel down the shaft, though it probably won't cause your fingers to go numb.

The vibrations are at 4 vrooms on the highest setting, and 4 bees at its loudest. When the vibrations are turned up all the way, it makes a lot of rattling noises, which are very loud and can be easily heard through a closed door. That makes this toy not good for those living with others in close quarters. But if you put on loud music or something, you could make it work.

The metallic massager is waterproof, and has performed well while submerged underwater. So it's safe to be used in the shower or tub, and this makes clean up even easier.

Since this toy is made of plastic, it can be cleaned with warm water and soap, as well as toy cleaners, and by wiping it down with rubbing alcohol. And since it's not porous, it's okay to share!

Storing this toy is equally easy. Just put it in your toy box, drawer, or what have you, and you're good.

The packaging was not discreet. Not only was it see-through, but it had a picture of a naked lady on the front. It wasn't too big or clunky, but it wasn't the best for storage. Since it was plastic, I recycled it after receiving my vibrator.

I've had this vibrator for almost nine months, and it's satisfied me so far. But this morning, it stopped working during the heat of the moment. I tried changing the batteries, but nothing worked. I fear my metallic friend has finally met its maker! I hope it's just being temperamental, and tomorrow I'll pick it up and it'll be fine. Either way, it's served me well since I got it in September!
