Definitely Delightful

After reviewing the Silky G, I immediately came to the conclusion that I need the entire Fleur-de-Lis line. So when the Delight came up for review, I instantly grabbed it. No questions asked. All of these vibrators share the same great qualities: waterproof, body-safe plush silicone, pliable shaft, quiet but rumbly vibrations, attractive design, and super-awesome packaging!

The Delight, in particular, is a traditional style vibrator with a nice combination of texture, girth and flexibility. It is a great toy suitable for those new to texture but looking for a little more girth than your average traditional vibrator. This could easily be appreciated by all experience leveled toy users, whether you are a beginner or advanced. With its super quiet motor, it is very discreet so its also perfect for those living in not so private living quarters. This can also be shared between partners as silicone can be sterilized. It's waterproof so it can be brought into the shower or tub for some wet fun. In other words: this can be used any time, any place!

To avoid any accidental mishaps, this toy should not be used anally as there is no flared base.

The Delight is made of 100% pure silicone making this toy non-porous, hypoallergenic, phthalate & latex free. In other words: it's completely body-safe. I really love the feel of this silicone because it is very plush and feels so amazingly soft and silky. It is also flexible and contours nicely to the body. The base is made of hard plastic, also body-safe. Neither material have a taste or smell.

There are eight ridges that run vertically down the shaft. These definitely add texture and are easily felt while being very stimulating. The texture is ideal for all users because it is soft, yet stimulating enough to be enjoyed by beginners and advanced users. The ridged texture along with the soft silicone allows for rubbing, grinding, and thrusting without discomfort. It has a slight surface drag so you may want to have some water-based lubricant handy.

The Delight is available in two colors; pink and purple. I have the pink and it is much brighter than in the onsite photo. It's a really humming bright neon pink. With the bright neon color, it surely draws attention to itself and clearly looks like a sex toy. It's not what you would call discreet looking. You could probably stuff it in a suitcase, however, I would leave this one at home.

The Delight is powered by 2AAA batteries that are easy to insert by unscrewing the base and sliding them in the removable tray. This is a great feature for when you want to take the batteries out between uses, as you can just leave them in the plastic casing making it more convenient to put them back in. They are also interchangeable between all the Fleur-De-Lis vibrators, making it easy to swap them between the toys by just taking the tray out of one vibe and plopping it into another.

The vibrations pretty quiet and are almost obsolete while using internally. They are not intense but are pretty strong considering how quiet the toy is. I was really surprised by the power this had from only 2AAA batteries. They are more on the deep and rumbly side. Even though the vibrations are not the strongest, they were perfect for me. They are not overpower allowing me to enjoy the texture to its fullest.

The Delight is very easy to control and is turned on via a single push button that is located on the bottom of the base. To turn it on, simply press the button once and it begins on its first level of vibrations. To turn it off, keep scrolling through until it turns off. This can easily be pushed by using your index finger while thrusting with no interruptions, but not so easy that it will be pushed accidentally.

There are 3 intensity levels of steady vibrations:

1.Low - Moderately strong vibration, virtually silent, great for warming up or teasing.
2.Medium - Stronger vibrations, just as quiet as the previous setting.
3.High - Even stronger, but not Intense vibrations. Should suit most; My personal fave.

The Delight is waterproof as well. One thing I really liked about the performance in the water was the ability to stay strong and be quiet enough not heard over the shower or running bath water. The battery cap is sealed with an o-ring and it works pretty darn good at keeping water out of places it doesn't belong.

Being made of silicone and completely waterproof makes this toy super easy to clean by running it under warm water with an antibacterial soap, or your favorite toy cleaner. I use Climax Bursts and it works great. Just be sure to clean well between all the ridges. The silicone can also be sterilized by wiping it down with a 10% bleach solution for a good deep clean, especially if you plan to share this toy. To store it, remove the batteries then place it in its original packaging for safe keeping.

Remember to use a water-based lubricant only with your silicone toys!

The packaging is really unique and one of my favorite parts of the Fleur-de-Lis line. I honeslty can't wait to collect all five and line them up all in a row; all standing pretty in their cases. The case is a clear plastic case that stands on end with a rounded top. On the plastic are some pretty swirls and a ribbon across the top with a Fleur-De-Lis charm dangling at the end of the ribbon. It's really pretty and displays the toy in which it is standing in the case. This makes a really nice display case to keep out on your night stand or dresser - that's is discreetness is not an issue. It's not discreet but does present itself as a nice gift.

To remove the toy from its case, simply unscrew the base and slide the cover off. The toy itself is also screwed into the base and can be unscrewed, leaving an addition piece on the toy. It needs to be removed in order to use the toy, and can be by unscrewing the battery cap. Keep this addition piece of plastic as it is needed to secure your toy to the based during storage.

For someone who doesn't normally do traditional style vibrators, I really enjoyed the Delight. Although this is not an overly large toy, the bulgy body along with the ridged texture gives it more of a full feeling than your hard, plastic, bony traditional vibes would. It's filling, but not stretching. I love how the Delight flexes and contours to my body and I don't have to bruise my cervix to enjoy great textured thrusting. I lov the feel of the plush silicone and thrusting this toy feels amazing. While inserted, I enjoy twirling and whirling the toy around. It's really stimulating and fun to do. I also enjoyed rolling the ribbed shaft over my labia and clit, creating a "speed bump" affect.

I am enjoying collecting the Fleur-de-Lis vibrators. I love the overall design, crafting, and premium quality of these toys. I can't wait to try another!
