Fleur De-- Holy Hell, You're Huge!!

The Fleur De Lis Delight is a large, silicone traditional vibrator with a bit of a twist. It has mild texture and a large girth. Since it is waterproof, it can be a great accessory for baths and showers as well as playing in the hot tub or pool. You can only use water based lubes with this, so keep it in mind for water play--especially if you need a bit more help than your body and the water can provide.

The Delight can be used for thrusting during penetration, clitoral and labial teasing, penile teasing and external anal stimulation. Use anally at your own risk, there is no flared base for safety. The base actually gets smaller and could easily be lost due to the slick plastic handhold.

This seems, in my opinion, to be primarily a women's or couple's vibrator, there does not seem to be many functions that would appeal to men--I could be wrong, though. This vibrator is suitable for those who like a larger size, some texture, no patterns, a quiet motor or water play.

The base is smooth and hard ABS Plastic, but the majority of the vibrator is silicone. Silicone is a body safe material that is hypo-allergenic, anti-bacterial, non-porous, and phtalate free. There is no aroma or taste to the Delight.

There is a bit of drag to this silicone. It is smooth, soft and flexible but is not as luxurious as some of the other silicones. The feel is more firm and functional but still flexible. The drag is about a 4 for strength and tugging on the skin. A one is a sexy glide and a ten is a harsh pull that distorts your skin and is a bit painful.

There are eight vertical ribs that add a lot to the texture and girthy feeling. These ribs are what stopped me from enjoying this vibrator as much as I was hoping to, but will suit others perfectly. I cannot handle this amount or style of texture and the size was a bit more than I am comfortable with during penetration.

The base measures 1 1/2" tall by 1" diameter and is not insertable. There is a tight fitting sealed o-ring inside the base which keeps water out of the battery compartment. This does work very well. After submerging the Delight for about 20 minutes, there was no sign of dampness inside the base.

This is a larger vibrator, measuring in at 7 1/2" tall, with 6" insertable, and has varying diameters. The diameter at the base is 1" and it grows to 1 3/4" near the top. It does shrink down to 1" at the rounded tip. The ribs start at about 1/2" up the shaft and stops at 1" below the tip. The core of the shaft is 1 1/8", but the ribs add 3/8" to the overall diameter and you can really feel this when using the vibrator!

The ribs actually hurt with penetration, they are just too much for me to handle. I really slicked the lube on hoping that would make a difference, but the shape of the ribs and the larger size just would not work for me. I was defeated by the Delight!! It does work nicely in the shower as a teaser and clitoral vibrator, so this one does have a home--just not much company, if you know what I mean. Hopefully I can figure out some better and more creative ways to use this, it really is a nice vibrator.

The base unscrews off the shaft to open up the battery compartment. There is a plastic cylinder for the batteries that needs to be removed by the tab and you will insert 2 AAA batteries firmly into the open side. Replace the cylinder, making sure the tab area is in the proper place and replace the base of the vibrator. Screw the base on tight or the Delight will not turn on or be waterproof.

This is a whisper quiet vibrator, barely making a sound, even on the highest setting. It would be perfect fro roommate, dorm or other situations where noise is a factor. The vibrations are deeper but buzzy. The vibrations penetrate very well but are fast and very buzzy, almost tickling sometimes.

To operate the vibrator, there is a push button on the base. Push in once to turn it on, it will be at the lowest setting. The speeds are low, medium and high, all steady vibrations and all accessed with the push button. To turn it off, you must press the button one time after the highest speed. There is no off switch or holding--and you must cycle through the speeds to turn the Delight off. Very easy and traditional.

Wash the Delight in warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly. You may soak it in a 10% bleach solution, rub it with alcohol or use a proper toy cleaner to sanitize the material. Do not boil or place in the dishwasher, it will ruin the motor. I use a soft bristled toothbrush to clean the ribs. Scrub very lightly so the material does not get damaged.

Keep this toy separate from other items. Silicone is a temperamental material when combined with others. It can pick up colors from nearby items or have a reaction that degrades the silicone making it unsafe for further use. This may also happen if anything other than water based lube is used.

I store my Fleur De Lis Delight in the original package, which is yet another wonderful and artistic creation from Evolved Novelties.

The packaging is very beautiful and practical. The dome is clear plastic with scrolled heart and fleur de lis molded into it. There is a band on the middle that has a pink colored plastic interior band with the manufacturer's name and slogan. The base of the dome unscrews to remove the vibrator and there is another part inside that also unscrews, releasing the base of the Delight.

There is a ribbon attached to the top of the dome and it has a metal fleur de lis charm attached to it. This package, while pretty and unique, is in no way discreet--so make sure it is hidden if you do not wish for others to see your toy.
