Do you desire the Desire? I know I do..

I am filled with desire for the Desire from Evolved. I find the shaft to be the perfect blend of texture without being overwhelming. The vibrations are simple, but powerful. Desire is one classy lady vibrator too, she's very well made and has a tin that would make Desire a great gift too.
love the texture, waterproof, powerful, well made
a tad bit loud

extremely useful review
Like all Evolved toys that I've tried the Desire is a well made, sturdy vibrator that offers thrills both clitorally and internally. While she's not curved for g-spot stimulation if you angle her right she'll hit the spot. Like the other vibrators in this line there aren't any fancy settings, just three different levels of steady vibration which range from "oh that's nice" to "oh! oh! oh!". Desire is made of hard plastic, so she's not squishy but she's not too big either, so the rigid shaft shouldn't be much of a problem even for a beginner. The plastic material also means you can use any type of lubrication that you wish to use, which I enjoy because when using the Desire I can break out my oil based lubes that aren't allowed to come out to play when I use silicone toys.

The desire has some well placed ripples along her which makes for just the right amount of texture. It's a nice balance between a traditional smooth vibrator and a ribbed vibrator. I also have both the Pure and the Lust from Evolved and I find Desire to be the middle sister of them. There's Lust who is wild and crazy and has ripples all up and down the shaft, and then we have Pure, the demure sister with no texture and she's all sugar and spice and everything nice. Desire is kind of that middle sister who looks up to her bad girl older sister Lust but likes to keep her feet on the ground..slightly. If you thrust quickly it feels as if the whole shaft is textured, but if you go slow you can feel the head is smooth and then you can actually feel the difference between the ridges and the smooth areas. It's quite nice and gives you variety based on how fast you thrust.

Desire is pretty low maintenance. She only requires 2AA batteries, which are the kind I most often have around the house. The battery cap screws on nice and tight and there's an o-ring, no worrying about water leaking in. She also can be cleaned with soap and water or a toy cleaner, and though she's textured I don't find the ridges hard to clean. She comes with her own little tin so you don't need to worry about where to store her. When you're done you can just tuck her in for her beauty sleep and go get some of your own.'ll need after she gets through with you!
The Desire performs well whether she's being used to stimulate the clitoris or if you want to insert her vaginally. Just don't try her anally, since she doesn't have a flared base she's just not that kind of girl! My favorite way to use the Desire..the way I DESIRE to use her I should say, is a mix of both vaginal and clitoral stimulation. I kind of go back and forth between some thrusting and running the ridges along my clit to kind of get the best of both worlds. I've also tried using Desire internally and using a bullet or a wand massager on my clit and that is absolutely amazing as well. Another nice thing about this vibe and the other hard plastic evolved toys is that they're quite fun without any vibration at all. Desire is a pretty weighty girl and packs quite the punch used just as a dildo as well.

Desire has taken her swimming lessons, so don't be afraid to bring her into the bath or the shower. She'd be more than happy to join you for a relaxing bubble bath. In fact this is just the kind of toy I like for bath time fun. You don't have to worry about all different buttons or anything with Desire, she just has one easy to press button on the bottom of the battery cap. You also don't have to worry about needing lubrication to insert her. While lubrication can make your fun with her a bit more slick and juicy, she'll also do just well without it in the bath tub. (You could also use silicone lube in the shower or bath and that will work well.)

Desire is ahem, a bit vocal..she's certainly the loudest of the Evolved sisters that I've tried. The others are quiet enough that I don't think they'd be heard through closed doors, but Desire..that's questionable. I guess she's just a screamer, ahh a toy after my own heart. Using her in the shower is a great way to muffle the noise. If you don't want to use her in the tub or shower I found having some background noise helps and then her sound isn't really able to be heard throught a closed door. Using Desire internally also muffles the noise a bit. I'm not really sure what makes Desire so much louder than the other ones I have that are the same line, but there is a noticeable difference.
