Vanity Vr3 - dual motor rabbit vibrator discontinued by Jopen - review by Dawn (Lilac Distraction)

The Vanity Vr3 is a wonderful luxury dual stimulator that has a few more uses than the others out there. First off, it's amazing for dual vaginal and clitoral stimulation. The clitoral arm can fit just about any anatomy out there so you don't have to worry about it missing the sweet spot like others can. If you flip it around, the clitoral arm can stimulate the outer anal area as well. The small size of the insertable part allows it to be used as a purely clitoral stimulator without being too bulky our heavy like the larger dual stimulators can be. This toy is also perfectly anal safe! It's a great size and shape for those looking to explore a little anal play whether they be male or female (although it's recommended more for experienced anal players when used in this fashion. You can use it so tease other erogenous zones, as well.

Need your hands to be freed up? Due to the bulbed shape of the insertable portion, this one can be inserted and will stay in without having to be held! You can use those PC muscles to rock it back and forth. Bonus: You're working out those kegels! This was something that majorly impressed me! It's not every day you meet a hands-free vibe that does everything you need it to!

Because of it's non-intimidating shape and size, it's suitable for beginners. The hands-free option, low noise level, and the powerful vibrations (not to mention luxury) make it quite charming to advanced users. This is a great toy that just about everyone can appreciate. (Size queens might not find this up to their normal level, but this baby packs a punch.)

Hooray for silicone! Most of us are pretty familiar with how wonderful silicone is for toys. It's not porous, it can be sterilized, it's very durable, and it's the safest flexible toy material. The Vr3 is made of a very velvety (like, super velvety) silicone that just has the feel of luxury. Because the material isn't very slick, a water-based lube is a good idea when using this toy. (Remember, no silicone lubes with silicone toys.) There's no smell to it, which is common for silicone materials, as well.

There's only one real issue with silicone, and this toy in particular. Pet hair, lint, dust, and fuzz are totally in love with it. This seems to be the toy I've had the most trouble with when it comes to this. All of the fuzz is easily washed or wiped away with a damp cloth or water, and the Vr3 comes with a nice storage pouch to help you keep all of it at bay.

There are quite a few different styles of dual stimulators in this line. When choosing between this one, I thought this one would work best for me. The clitoral arm which can be hit-or-miss with other dual-stims is perfect with this one. It's not a clamp, it doesn't reach too far, or end up being too short. The flexible material allows you to insert the other portion vaginally and the clitoral arm fan be flexed to fit where you need it, but it doesn't apply too much pressure when the toy is inserted fully. The clitoral arm felt like a vibrating finger almost. I was able to rock it back and forth which is my preferred method of manual stimulation while the vibrations did there thing and it was an intense experience.

The insertable portion may not look like that big of a deal, but I was incredibly surprised. It can only be inserted about 3 1/2" to 4", but it totally rocked my world (and G-spot). The shape of it allowed for direct and full contact with the G-spot and actually provided a great level of fullness for it's size. The bulbed shape of it and the narrow neck allowed it to be held in place securely without having to use hands, which is a big plus in my book. I was able to move around with it in, and use my kegel muscles to actually move it around. I think this is quickly becoming one of my favorite toys because of this feature.

Overall, the entire toy is only 6 1/2" long, and as mentioned before, it's not a full insertion toy. Even though I prefer toys like that, this one was still satisfying in its own right because of the power level and shape of it. This is also one of those toys that's beautifully designed and is easy on the eyes. It looks incredibly artistic. Form meets function here and both are amazing.

Ok, so I was a little confused as to the buttons when I first got this one. You have two buttons on the base. There's one for each motor. Normally, as we all know, you usually push the buttons to cycle through speeds and functions, but this one is a little different. You don't get a set number of speeds or functions. There aren't any pulsation patterns with this one. You just get straight vibrations, but I usually don't care for those patterns, so it wasn't any loss to me. Once you get the hang of the buttons, they're super easy to use.

To turn on the vibe, press one of the two buttons. To increase the vibration, hold the button down and the light will flash. The longer you hold it down, the higher the vibrations will go, and the faster the light on that button will flash. When the max vibrations have been reached, the light becomes steady. Speeds can easily be increased during use, but if you need to decrease them, you will need to start at the beginning. To turn it off, give the button a quick push and it's instantly off. (You can turn one section off without turning off the other.) The clitoral arm is pretty powerful, but a tad bit buzzy. (Let's be realistic, have you ever met something small without buzzy vibrations?) These vibrations range from 2-4 vrooms. The insertable portion, though . . . wow. 3-5 super rumbly vrooms! I'm serious here! This thing has a lot of power! Even when you've got this thing on full blast, it's still super quiet and can't really be heard under covers.

The buttons do lock for travel. Simply hold down both buttons for four seconds until they flash. Doing this a second time will unlock the toy.

This vibe is rechargeable, or course. Charging time is three hours. It can't be used while charging. The charger has a long, narrow end that fits into a tiny hole on the base of the vibe. There is a charging light that glows red while the vibe is still charging and turns off when fully charged. Because the charging port is so small, this vibe is waterproof!

Silicone is very easy to care for. Even though this isn't one you can boil to get it sterile, you can wash it in a 10:1 water and bleach solution, so it's perfectly fine to share without a condom (as long as you wash between partners). If your toy gets fuzzy between uses, it can be easily rinsed in the sink. For normal washing, soap and water, or toy wash will do the trick. There is a small seam that runs down the sides of the toy (which is way too small to have any impact on use). In my experience, nothing really gets stuck in there, so it's very easy to wash, overall.

The Vr3 comes with a large (like, really large) nylon/polyester/some other soft silky material pouch for storage. This one can fit a couple of toys, so it's great for travel as well.

With all silicone toys, make sure to only use water-based lubes.

Did you know that Jopen is actually Cal Exotics? They went under this different name for their luxury line and I'm kind of wondering why. I have a theory that they wanted to sound more like luxury than their original name does so that toy snobs out there (like me) would be more interested in this line. We know Cal Exotics isn't really synonymous with high-end toys and make some of the cheaper ones out there.
