Oh, Vanity!

The Jopen Vanity Vr3 is a small, rechargeable, non-rotating rabbit style vibrator made of luxurious silicone. This means it is a dual stimulator that can stimulate internally and externally at the same time by using two independent controls or it can be used separately if you wish. According to Jopens pamphlet, it is ergonomically designed for the natural contours of a woman. However, the fit on the clitoral arm will vary depending on one's anatomy. The clitoral arm is too buzzy for my liking so I usually have it turned off and I use the shaft separately.

Your teasing isn't limited to just the clitoris, you can use it to gently tease and stimulate whatever erogenous zone that you prefer including the nipples, outside the anus, or testicles. It can be used solo or during couples play. The base of the toy provides a wonderful handle to use to insert the rabbit in and out very easily. If you have a partner they can do the inserting for you.

The Vanity Vr3 does not have a flared base, so I wouldn't recommend it anally.

The entire Jopen Vanity line is considered to be 100% waterproof so you can take the Vr3 in any water setting that you please such as the bath, shower, hot tub, swimming pool, lake, etc.

The Vanity 3 is such a versatile toy that it is a wonderful vibrator for beginners to advanced users alike. It may be too expensive for your first toy, but I highly recommend trying a Jopen toy if you can afford it. No matter how you use it, the Vr3 is a nice toy to experience.

The entire Vanity line is made out of silicone which is a 10 on the safety scale. Silicone is considered to be a food grade material that is durable, non-porous, hypoallergenic, latex free, and phthalates free. Silicone also maintains-retains body heat well and can be easily sanitized. The silicone on the Vr3 has some to drag to it, but that can be easily fixed with some water based lubricant. The silicone does not have any smell to it at all even directly out of the package.

The silicone has a satiny finish and is very smooth, soft, velvety, and does not have any additional texture to it. It is best for those who enjoy smooth toys and is not designed for those who like texture to their toys with all the bumps, ridges, and grooves. The clit arm and shaft are both firm, but have a little bit of flexibility to them. Although the clit arm isn't that flexible, especially compared to the 6.5, you can maneuver the toy to fit your clitoris comfortably. Without adjusting the toy, the clit arm falls below my clitoris.

Jopen claims in their insert that their toys are virtually seamless which is not exactly true. There is a small vertical seam that runs down the shaft and clitoral arm that can be visibly seen, but can't be felt while in use or while you run your hand over it. There are some indentions at the back of the Vr3 above the charging port that show some information about the Vr3.

The design is similar to my Jopen Vanity Vr6.5 but with a shorter clit arm that sticks out instead of up. The design starts with a small slightly pointed tip for easy insertion and then increases in size down the shaft. It has an attached clitoral arm that is rounded as well. The slight curve to the Vr3 may hit some g-spots, but that will depend on ones anatomy. As I mentioned previously, I have to work with the clit arm to position it properly for me. To fully insert the Vr3, I need to have lubricant because the shaft is thicker than I am normally used to, but with lubricant I do not have any issues with it. As far as rabbits are concerned, this is really small, but it left me with a full feeling.

From tip to tip measuring diagonally, the shaft and clitoral arm are 3.75" apart. The Jopen 6.5 measures 2" this way. Measuring from tip to base, the entire length of both the 3 and the 6.5 is 6 1/2". If you measure along the curve of the toy the 3 measures 7.75" long. This is from the very top to the very bottom. The 6.5 measures 7" this way. The base of the Vr3 is 4.75" around and the 6.5 measures 5" around. The Vr3 is 4" around on the shaft at the top whereas the Vr6.5 is 4 1/4". Both the 3 and 6.5 measure 4.75" around where it is largest in the middle, and the Vr3 measures 3" around at the bottom whereas the Vr6.5 measures 3.75" around at the bottom. The clitoral arm on the Vr3 is 3" around at the top. The Vr6.5 is 2.25" around at the top. The Vr3 and Vr6.5 are both 3.25" around in the middle and 2.50" around at the bottom.

I consider the Vr3 suitable for beginners and advanced users alike, but especially those who prefer smaller toys.

It is very easy to travel with and even has a travel lock feature so it won't accidentally turn on during use. To unlock, hold both buttons simultaneously for four seconds. To lock, repeat this process. Due to its small size, you can easily carry this in a small purse, bag, or jacket pocket.

It is not exactly discreet if you're familiar with sex toys at all so if discretion is important to you, I would make sure this is hidden out of sight.

As with the Jopen Vr6.5, the Vr3 has two very easy to use independent push button controls for the shaft and clitoral arm. These buttons are located on the top of the base of the toy. The buttons click when pushed and I feel they're located in a weird position for me, because that's where I hold the 3 and I have unintentionally turned off the toy. The top button controls the shaft and the bottom button controls the clitoral arm. To use the VR3 is very easy, all you need to do is press it once to turn it on and continue holding the button down to go through the levels of vibration for increasing power. The buttons will flash while increasing the power and will become steady when it reaches the highest level. To turn it off, press the button again. I like that it has a quick turn off button in case someone walks in on you.



The entire Vanity line does not have any patterns so if you are one that needs the exciting variety of patterns then the Vanity line will not have something you enjoy. I personally enjoy strong steady vibrations so it is perfect for me.

The clitoral arm starts out at a somewhat buzzy, whiny 1 Vroom and as you progress through the speeds makes it to a 3 Vroom at the highest setting. The vibrations are focused along the tip of the clitoral arm. I'm not a fan of buzzy vibrations and the power is not strong enough for me so I turn the clitoral arm off and use Uma as my clitoral vibe. The shaft however is a wonderful rumbly vibration. The intensity starts at a 2 Vroom and increases to a 5 Vroom at its highest setting. The vibrations start in the middle of the shaft and disperse all the way to the tip.

It does not cause any numbing or itching which is great. One thing I noticed when I had this inserted was if I squeezed my kegel muscles I could feel the power lessening a bit, which I don't particularly like.

It has a Lithium Ion rechargeable battery that has a complete charge in four hours, but the first initial charge only takes three and a half hours. Fully charged, it can give you up to three hours of play, but that depends on what setting you are on and if you are using both motors simultaneously so results will vary. It gives no warning when the battery is about to quit, it just turns off. Sadly, I learned this in the middle of things.

The charging port is located on the bottom of the vibrator. There's a small circle indention where it plugs into the vibrator like the Bedroom Kandi lipstick vibrator or any other Jopen toys. To charge, plug the charger into the recharge port and plug into a power source. A red LED will glow indicating that it is charging. When fully charged, the light will turn off. The charger is a little over five feet long. All Jopen chargers fit any Jopen toy so that's nice that they're interchangeable.




The entire Jopen Vanity line is completely waterproof and has held up during testing. The vibrations did not become weaker in the water which was fantastic. The hole for the charging port creates a bubble that stops water from seeping in ensuring that it is waterproof.

The 3 is a very quiet toy and can't be heard through thin walls or through closed doors even with both motors on the highest setting. I'd consider the 3 to be a 2 Bee on the highest setting with both motors running and virtually quite at lower settings.

As with any waterproof toy, clean-up is a breeze because you don't have to worry about submerging it or carefully cleaning it. The lack of texture ensures this toy wipes off very easily. When cleaning this, you have several options to choose from; you can wash it with anti-bacterial soap and water, your favorite toy cleaner, or toy wipe. You can also use a 10% bleach solution to sanitize it. It does tend to pick up hair and debris like crazy so make sure to clean before and after every use. I'd dry it with something that didn't contain a lot of lint or let it air dry.

As mentioned earlier it has drag to it, so you will be needing some lubricant with this for easier insertion. As with any silicone toy, it is best to use a water-based lubricant. If you have to use silicone based lubricant, please spot test first to make sure there is not any reaction with the two like materials.

With the proper care silicone can even be shared among partners, but please make sure to thoroughly clean it between partners or if you're switching orifices.

The Vr3 came in a plain white cardboard box wrapped in plastic. The front has a V in purple as well as the product name in smaller letters above and below the V. The back features a picture of the 3, company website, copyright information, and some selling points regarding the 3.

Included inside the box was the charger, toy, storage bag, Vanity product catalog, and bullet sheet. The toy sits in a raised cardboard cutout specifically designed for its design. You could potentially keep the box for storage, but I've recycled mine because I don't have room to store all of my Jopen boxes.

The black drawstring storage bag has Jopen written on it and is wonderful for storing the toy. It is quite large and can easily hold the toy and charger with extra room for wipes and lubricant if you wish. You could also choose to store other toys in the bag if you wish. The bag is very large and the choices are endless. This is my 5th Jopen Vanity so I've collected quite a few bags so I've decided to store my Pure Wand in one and my Athena in another because they came in nice sturdy boxes without storage bags and I really don't have room to keep their boxes around.

The insert that features all of the Vanity toys shows a brief diagram of where the motors are located, and give a little bit of information about the line. There is also a clear insert similar in size to a bookmark that displays key points of information about the product in bullet format.

I was asked by my friend WomanChina to explain the differences in all the power of the Jopen toys that I have. I will try to explain them here.

The 6.5 clitoral arm is weak starting at a 2 Vroom, but the vibrations from the shaft do carry through the clitoral arm as well when both motors are turned on so it does make the clitoral arm a little bit stronger. At the highest setting I'd consider the clitoral arm to be a buzzy 4 Vrooms. The shaft is a good strong 4 vrooms on high and 2 Vrooms on low. If you turn the clitoral arm on at the same time it pushes it to a 5 Vroom.

I would consider the small end on the 9 to be a good 3 Vroom. The large end is more rumbly and deep than the smaller end and I would consider it at its highest to be a high 4 Vroom.

I would consider the smaller end on the 8 to be a buzzy 3 vroom and the larger end a rumbly 4 vroom. If you compare the 9 with the 8 I would consider both large ends to be the same amount of rumbly. The smaller end on 8 is more rumbly than the 9's smaller end, but neither is as deep and rumbly as the larger end.

The small end of 2 is whiny at the highest setting, and the larger end is still whiny but is considered to be deeper. I would consider the smaller end a buzzy 3 vroom and the larger end a mix breed between buzzy and rumbly at a 4 vroom.

As I mentioned earlier the 3 is a buzzy 3 Vroom on the clitoral arm and a strong rumbly 5 Vroom on the shaft.

The Jopen Vanity Vr3 is my second Jopen rabbit and was the item I requested for my milestone assignment. I am planning on collecting the entire Jopen line because I love their unique designs, their power, and the amazingly large storage bag. The clitoral arm on this particular Jopen wasn't long enough to reach my clitoris properly without adjusting it when I had the shaft inserted fully. I love the power the 3 has to offer as well as the fact I can apply pressure as well. Although I can't orgasm with it internally, if I use the insertable end externally, I am able to have a clitoral orgasm so I find this to be a great toy.
