When I received my package and opened the box, I was amazed by the sleek design and high-end appearance of the Satisfyer 1. The rose gold color with white detail gives off a very sophisticated vibe (no pun intended). The silicone head is soft to the touch and has a nice wide opening for a range of clitoris sizes. The control buttons are soft silicone as well and are easy to press, making the toy easy to control. I was excited to see how well this puppy delivered based on my general first impressions, so I popped in two fresh AAA batteries and went on my way.

For my first use of the toy, I opted for a solo session in my bathtub, to test out the waterproof functions and to see how quiet the Satisfyer really was. Upon turning on the toy, I found that the lowest setting was basically inaudible and had I not looked for the "On" light I wouldn't have even noticed the toy was on. In my personal opinion, the suction/vibration was too weak up until I turned it up to the 4th level. It was the perfect amount of stimulation to work myself up from, and it only got better from there. This was my first time using a vibrator in about 6 months so as I kept raising the vibration level I found myself "O"-ing in no time. For a battery powered vibe, I found this to be surprisingly strong at its highest setting. I've also come to notice that in spite of being labeled waterproof, sometimes when I switch out batteries, there's a bit of water under the twist off battery cap. This leaves behind an almost rust-like residue in the battery area of the toy. It is, however, very easy to clean the exterior of this toy, including the silicone head. It pulls right off, making cleaning a breeze. Because of the silicone composition of the toy, it's always a good idea to stick with water-based lubricants to maximize the longevity of your Satisfyer 1. I would definitely recommend using this toy with a partner to enhance your experience, or if you're more fond of going solo, incorporating penetration really takes things to the next level.

This toy's lower settings left me wanting more, but that can be perfect for someone buying their first vibrator. Luckily, this toy has a multitude of settings for people who like to play a little harder. Positioning this toy is key to experiencing and enjoying the full range of rumble it puts out.

For the most part, using this toy gave me moderately strong orgasms. I wouldn't go as far as to say it gets me going as much as a plugin magic wand does, but for the price, I'd say it's a pretty great beginner, budget or stepping stone toy.
