Spartacus got it right with this set of clips. They can go across a wide range of pain thresholds, which is great for sex ranging from vanilla to hardcore BDSM. In addition, the adjustability makes them wearable regardless of whether your nipples are smaller or larger. It was handy for leaving my hands free so I could focus on other parts, effectively giving me a second pair of hands. They can be used for solo and couple play, wherever you want a second (or third) pair of hands.

The body of the clamps is made of metal, the tips are made of rubber. There are five plastic beads on a string on the end of the product. All of the material is both non-porous and phthalates-free/latex-free, which prevents allergic reactions. The clips are entirely scentless, even when I first opened the box. The plastic tips were rounded and smooth. The metal tips were smooth with rectangular ends, which means that they hold on and bite in without drawing blood (at least not without really pinching). The metal corners can be a bit scratchy, so if you want them on and don't want blood, center them on the nipple. The rubber ends are removable, which unfortunately means that they can be easily lost.

The clamps are slightly bigger than they look in the box, but that works out amazingly well. They're 4 inch from tip to tip. This can be broken down into the three inch clip section and the one inch made up of the five hanging beads. They're pretty straightforward to attach. The clip works just like a tweezer. On the bottom part, there's a metal ring that can be slid up to increase the tension on the clip. It can take a minute to get on, and works much better with erect nipples. I managed to get them on my girl by slowly adjusting, which she had no complaints about. They were very noticeable when on, and she felt stimulation every timed they were moved (which was pretty often). Each movement produced a nice shock, which she fell in love with quickly. In addition, they're just big enough to look naughty and stimulate without causing major downward pull.

The clips performed magnificently and I was impressed with how they stayed on. We tried them with and without the plastic tips and they stayed on and stimulated in both cases. She preferred the plastic tips (not being a huge fan of pain), but the metal was also comfortable and didn't cause any bleeding or permanent damage. Like every clip, when they're taken off, there's more pain. The simple reason is that blood is rushing back in, and there's nothing any clip can really do to stop that.

They provided a nice balance between pain and pleasure without causing any permanent pain. However, you do lose the ability to play with the breast at the same time because you'd risk the clip falling off or making things more painful.

If you don't have a convenient discrete spot in your jewelry box to store them, keep the box or use a small pouch. The clip itself is pretty big and hard to lose, but the plastic tips could easily fall off during removal. The beads are attached by a metal wire, which can get bent while being stored, but that's easy enough to fix.

Cleaning is pretty straightforward. Take the tips off and wash both the plastic and metal separately in anti-bacterial soap and warm to hot water. Let them dry completely before putting the tips back on, or you could end up trapping water under the tips and causing rust.
