No vroom but beautiful

When I received the Reflections Joy, the first thing I thought was how appealing it was to the eye. It's a beautiful blue color with a cone shaped bulb on the end with dark blue nubbies surrounding the end. Packaged in a see through box like all Doc Johnsons. You aren't blinded by naked women. Just see through artwork.

Reflections is a traditional vibrating toy but with one major difference. It's made of tempered glass. This was the first glass toy I've tried. After hearing lots of great things about glass toys, I was thrilled to try it. Glass is a non porous surface so it didn't have a smell, and makes it easy to clean. The nubs that surround the outside add a fantastic stimulation since it's slightly lacking in the "good vibrations" department.

The size of this toy would be much better if it were a tad longer. It measures in 5" for insertion length which leaves me lacking in the thrusting department. But of course that's just a personal preference. I thoroughly enjoyed the nubs though for clitoral stimulation. Since glass can hold the temperature I ran it under cold water for an added sensation.

Reflections has 3 speeds of vibrations. Weak, Weaker, and Weakest. Ok, sorry. Low, Medium, and High. But really this toy was disappointing when I added the 1 AA battery it required. It's controlled by a very sensitive push button on the bottom. While using this toy every time I would insert in I would barely touch the button and it would stop vibrating. Not cool when you're trying to achieve an orgasm. I gave up on thrusting and moved to my clitoris and that was better.

I am highly sensitive when it comes to stimulation so for me to say the vibrations weren't really strong enough is saying a lot. All in all, though, a great new addition to my collection.
