As soon as I saw this vibrator on the product search list I knew that I wanted to try it. I had never had a glass toy before and I figured now would be as good a time as any to review one. The Reflections joy vibrating glass by Doc Johnson is a fantastic toy designed for many different uses and it is has an extremely beautiful design. It can be used for external stimulation of the erogenous zones or any other external parts of the body. It can also be used vaginally for g-spot stimulation. I would not recommend the use of this vibrator for anal insertion because it does not have a flared base to prevent it from getting stuck. This toy is also fantastic for temperature play thanks to the tempered glass material. This toy is suitable for single play or with a partner but be sure to tell your partner to take it slow because this glass toy has no give and could cause injury if not used properly.

The Reflections joy vibrating glass is made of tempered glass and plastic. The base of the toy where the battery compartment is located is made of smooth plastic. The body of the vibrator is made of tempered glass. This material is great for temperature play and is water proof which is a definite plus for those of you who enjoy using your toys in the shower or tub. The glass is smooth to the touch and it requires hardly any lube if any at all. The glass has no give what-so-ever so be sure to take it slow if you are using this vibrator for vaginal insertion to avoid injury. There was no smell or taste associated with this vibrator which is a definite plus. I would probably recommend these types of glass toys for more advanced users but it could be used by a beginner so long as they are careful and know their limits.

The design of this vibrator is wonderful and can satisfy pretty much any needs of any users. It is 6 inches long with an insertable length of 5 inches and a diameter of 1 1/2 inches. The head of the toy is textured with three rows of nubs that add extra stimulation when you rub it over the erogenous areas. The widest part of the toy is located right behind the nubs about an inch and a half to two inches from the head of the vibrator. The tempered glass material has absolutely no give so be extremely careful when using it for vaginal insertion. I would definitely suggest warming up to this toy before inserting it especially if you are not used to using girthy toys. The vibrator's body is a light bluish turquoise color while the nubs are dark blue. This toy is pretty easy to conceal along with your other toys and is quiet enough to not be heard through closed doors or walls. It could definitely be taken along on a trip provided you keep it in a secure location where it won't break.

This has become my new favorite g-spot vibrator. The thickness of the toy combined with the nubs provides just the right amount of stimulation and pressure and is enhanced even more by the vibrations. The vibrations are located mainly at the head of the vibrator but can be felt slightly throughout the entire body. There are three settings of vibrations that range from low to medium to high. They are controlled by a push button located at the end of the base where the battery compartment is. Simply press the button once to turn on the vibrations to the lowest setting, press it again to move to the medium vibrations, and once again to get to the high vibrations. If you press the button a fourth time you can turn the power off.

|This Vibrator runs on one AA battery and the battery compartment has a screw on top that contains directions on how to correctly insert the battery. The highest vibrations could be a little stronger for some. I found that when I was using it externally, it didn't provide enough vibrations to get me to climax but it was perfect for internal stimulation. The vibrations are not that noisy which is a definite plus for discretion. This vibrator is also waterproof and functioned just as well under water. The battery compartment prevented water from leaking into the compartment so there wasn't anything to worry about as far as messing up the function of the toy. This vibrator is also great for temperature play like most other glass toys and it holds it's temperature for a decent length of time.

This toy is very easy to care for. To clean it, simply run it under warm water and wash it with antibacterial soap or you can use toy cleaner. The tempered glass is compatible with silicone, water, and oil based lube. If you are sharing this vibrator, be sure to use a condom for safety. The one thing I wish that this toy came with was a storage pouch because I am afraid that it is going to break if I do not store it properly. Right now I am storing it in a pair of socks to provide protection from my other toys. I have seen from other reviews that some glass toys come with padded storage pouches and that would be a definite plus for this toy.
