The Reflections vibrator is a very beautiful vibe. There's no doubt in my mind that this is a great choice for a glass newbie. It's beautiful, has an interesting texture, and holds heat very well. It's a traditional vibe, so it can be use clitorally or vaginally if you so prefer. The nubs do provide an interesting sensation when inserted. This toy would be best suited for a beginner to the glass toy world since the vibrations aren't all that strong for someone used to stronger vibrations, and the fact that it's a great price for a basic glass toy. It works great during solo-time, especially when used in the shower.

For a glass vibrator, I was amazed at the texture and the material. It's smooth with a nubbed end. It really holds heat very well. I've always enjoyed using a warm toy, but unfortunately, hadn't really found anything other than the Evolved novelties that held heat well. That changed with this toy. The nubs provide extra stimulation whether you're using the vibe for insertion or for nipple play. All around, I'd say the texture is perfect for everyone.

The Reflections is a very artistically designed toy for the money. The smooth shaft with randomly placed jewel-like nubs really sets this toy off. It's definitely one classy looking vibrator in my book. It's not the longest vibe, measuring at a basic 6 inches, with only 5 inches of insertable length. It is however very girthy, with a circumference of almost 5 inches(4 3/4"). I think the girthy-ness certainly adds to the experience with this toy. Given the fact that this is a glass toy, it is a bit heavier than most vibrators in a person's collection, so using it for extended periods of time can certainly put a cramp in your hand. Overall, the dimensions are suitable for anyone, whether it be a newbie or a seasoned pro. The toy is very easy to hide if need be, although I just toss it into my toy box, and keep that out of the way from prying eyes/playful cats. Taking this along on a road trip would be just fine since it's a smaller vibe, but as far as air travel goes, I don't travel by air, so I can't speak for it. This could be a discreet toy, but with it looking so gorgeous and like a piece of art, why would you hide it if you didn't need to?

This uses one double A battery which makes for not so earth shattering vibrations. The great part about the Reflections vibrator is that the control is a push button on the bottom that takes a little effort to change. This feature results in not changing the speed mid orgasm which is always a huge plus in my book. There are only three speeds, but unlike some toys, you can tell a difference between each speed. I really enjoy the fact that the controls are on the bottom and require some muscle to change, but on the same note, I don't really like the fact that the vibrations are so-so. On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the strongest, I think I'd have to give this a 5. They're middle of the road. Not the strongest, but certainly not the weakest vibrations out there.

The other downside is that the battery compartment's cap is a screw-on cap, and sometimes it can be tricky to get it screwed on correctly. It is waterproof as long as the battery cap is properly tightened down. The waterproof factor is a huge bonus since I like to run hot water over it until it's just the right temperature for use. It's also great because that morning shower can go from a daily chore to the best part of your day!

It's also a fairly quiet toy. With my husband sitting 5 feet away, the only time he could make out a barely discernible noise was when the toy was on the highest speed. If you were using this toy under the covers with a door shut, there'd be no noise heard from outside the room. Very handy for those needing a discreet toy.

Caring for the Reflections is quite simple since it is a glass toy, and it's non-porous. The shaft /head can be sterilized, but take care not to get the battery compartment wet. I usually wipe it down with some Before and After Toy Cleaner, although in a pinch I use hot water and antibacterial soap. Drying is very easy since this can be towel dried. I keep this in my toy box with all my other toys, a mix of plastic, and now glass. Because it is made from glass, it is compatible with pretty much any lube.

The toy arrived in a cute whimsical clear plastic box, so you could clearly see what it was. Because of this, it wouldn't make a great gift box. User instructions were not included, although with it being a traditional vibrator, the intended use is pretty clear. I wouldn't recommend using it as a storage box just for the simple fact that it's too much work to put it in and take it out all the time.

I had the joy of using this toy before pregnancy, and during. Before pregnancy, I needed really strong vibrations, and usually used all my vibes cranked up to the highest speed. However now, I can climax pretty easily with it on a medium speed, sometimes even low. So in the end, although the vibrations aren't the strongest for the average user, I really enjoy it a lot more now that I'm pregnant.

My partner used it on me, and it was a bit heavy, and his hand got tired out more quickly than with a normal weight vibe. He said it did carry vibrations really well though.
