Jewel - traditional vibrator by Shaki Toys - review by llellsee

I had my eye on the jewel traditional vibrator for quite a while before buying, having tried a toy of the same basic design in a much smaller size (more like a bullet vibe,the size of a finger)
and found it enjoyable I was curious about this one and I'll be honest, I thought it would be pretty sweet to have a matching pair of vibrators sitting next to each other on my bedside locker,one small and pink, the other large and purple but both sparkling away together.When I spotted the jewel at sale price one day I pounced on it.

It arrived a week later in its less than classy packaging showing a smiling topless woman and some statements in broken english used to describe the product within.
Once out of its packaging this vibrator is a more than attractive , I got mine in purple and it is a lovely shade of lavender, it's noticeably pretty and definitely one of the most feminine looking vibrators I own.
To the touch, the Jewel is soft and has a smooth, with an almost luxurious feeling velvety texture from tip to base.The measurements of the jewel are as follows:

Like any traditional plastic vibrator, the jewel is solid with no give to it at all, which can help when it comes to G-spot stimulation.Another feature of the Jewel that can help stimulate the G-spot is it's bulbed head.

Being made of plastic it is non-porous and has a high material safety rating for a toy of its price.In terms of toy safety the Jewel is:
Food-grade material / Hypo-allergenic / Latex free / Phthalates free.

Water, Oil and Silicone based lubricants can all be used with it and after use it can easily be cleaned with some antibacterial soap and warm water.

It is powered by two AA batteries, is multispeed with a dial base and is waterproof.

Once powered I was surprised by two things about this toy, One was just how incredibly loud it is for a toy that only takes a couple of AA's, powerful back massagers don't come as loud as this, and it seems to be the worst kind of loud, it rings in your ears and totally distracted me, taking my focus off any pleasure that I could have been getting from it.
It's not just how loud this toy is but how annoying the sound of it's motor is, different from any vibrator I own, I can only describe it as a high pitched ringing sound you might hear from an electric drill.

The second thing that surprised and dissapointed me about this toy is how for something as loud as this, the vibrations weren't nearly as strong as I would have hoped for.I bought another vibrator in the same order as this that only takes one AA and its stronger than this one.
I ended up resorting to my plastic lady finger style vibe with it's one AA battery power to get me off after the vibrations from this failed to.
As an insertable toy I did find this pretty enjoyable, it has a good shape to it with it's solid build and thicker bulbed head helping to hit the spot but turn this thing on and it'll turn me right off.
