Slips and slides once inside

An ok toy and good to help you with your kegels. I just wish it had a stronger vibration to be able to possibly get me off.
Sleek, good to use for a reward for doing your kegels.
Does not bring on any type of orgasm and moves up when you're wet.

The Jopen Vanity Vr1 is meant to help you with your kegels. Those pesky little muscles that if worked right help you to have that amazing sexual experience. Meant to be more than just a set of ben wa balls, slipping this dual motored little surprise in gives you two options once in. You can set it to vibrate when you squeeze your pelvic muscles or you can set it on constant vibrate. When not in use it can be locked which is a very nice option.
With me, if I was up and walking around the toy seemed to go too deep inside of me so that when I did my kegels it didn't vibrate at all. Now, laying in bed and doing kegels it worked. Sitting down... it depended on how wet I was if it decided to move. I haven't tried it in the shower, I'm not sure if it would move 'up' on me then too.
You could try and use this little toy for your clit, but doing this didn't do anything for me. Another fantastic way to use it was - when my hubby and I had it on full vibration while doing anal. No holding anything inside of me and it felt great for him and me too!

Material / Texture

I love that Jopen uses silicone, the best material a toy can be made of. A nice smooth texture that doesn't seem to attract anything, and cleans so nicely and easily. Food-grade, hypo-allergenic, non-porous, phthalates free - you can't go wrong. Cleaning this is so easy because it's waterproof. You can clean it with mild soap and water, a toy wipe or cleaner. Please only use water based lube since it is a silicone toy, and using silicone lube will break down the material of the toy and make it not so safe and able to hold bacteria. A nice matte finish covers every part of the toy until you get to the string to pull it out. That part is shinier and seems to be more sturdy than I thought it would be.

Design / Shape / Size

The toy overall is very smooth with little bumps for the writing, but the only thing you feel when it is inside of you is the two balls. The string seems to hold up well, but I'm not going to pull on it too hard when the toy is inside of me. The small space between the two balls is very flexible and moves with your body so it doesn't make it uncomfortable to use. The larger ball is just slightly bigger than I thought it would be, but still very comfortable.
I measured the toy at just under 3.5" without the string, the string adding another 3" to the overall length. The balls measuring at 1.25" in diameter. I don't know if I would call this an attractive toy, but I do like that it seems to be not too big and not too small. A really good size for comfort, and a really good length on the retrieval cord.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Vr1 has dual power bullet motors, one in each ball. When you get the Vr1 it is already locked, and my Vr1 was charged when I unpacked it. Finding the lock button close to the string on the bottom, hold the button for four seconds to unlock. Then the Vr1 is on 'exercise mode'. The vibrations will now turn on when the upper sides of the bottom ball are squeezed. The vibration will get stronger as the grip is tightened on the Vr1.
If you would like it on steady vibration for 'pleasure mode' before you insert it squeeze both sides on the toy and once you find the perfect vibration for you, press the lock button for one second. This will keep the vibrations on.
The vibrations aren't as strong as the motors in say... the Vr6, my other Jopen. And not that I thought they would be quite that strong, but I definitely thought that they would be stronger. I love the steady vibrations and find it to be a bit of a tease making me want to go for an actual vibrator. It's pretty easy to use even though the controls are quite different than what one might be used to. This could be a little noisy when on and not inside the body. But when it's in me I don't hear a lot, but I am a little thick and that could contribute to that. I have not tried out the total waterproofing of this toy in a bathtub to see how it preforms.
Also another note to put on this toy is that when I put this toy on the charger, I had it on lock. But when I took it off the charger it was off of lock mode, and on 'exercise mode'.

Care and Maintenance

Silicone being the wonderful material that it is, this toy is very easy to take care of. It is food-grade, hypo-allergenic, non-porous, and phthalates free. I use a toy wipe, but you can use one of those or a spray toy cleaner with a cloth or mild soap and water. This toy comes with the standard Jopen bag that is a cotton bag that you could hold almost all of the Jopen line in.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

My whole experience with this toy is ok. Why ok? Because with something so smooth vibrating inside of you, you're most likely going to get wet. And with my body the toy tends to slide more north than to where my kegels will make it vibrate. This along with the steady vibrations not being strong enough to be used for any other type of stimulation to actually make me cum make, it's ok. Worth the money? I don't know. Yes and no for me. I'm glad I have it in my group, but it won't be coming out to play as often as I would have liked it to.
