This toy takes 2 AA batteries which are not included. I will tell you, putting batteries in and getting it to close was a hassle at first but I finally got it to work with me. He is made out of green PVC, ABS and metal. He is 4.5” x 2.5”. He has three different speeds: low, medium, and high. He is waterproof, so he can be used in tub or shower. To turn your little alien friend on, just give him a light push on his tummy and he will turn on in the lowest setting. He is not a quiet toy, but since we are married, there's not much to worry about.
