I bought this book based on reviews by others. What can I say other then it was
a big disappointment leaving me with a desire to stop reading.

First of all, when the editor said “short stories” that is exactly what she meant. These stories are so short that I can not even figure out if I am in to the story before it ends. I understand that some people like it quick and to the point, but I myself prefer it drawn out a bit more.

Secondly, these stories are tame compared to other stuff I've read. There are a couple of stories that pushed the envelope a bit, but I found those ones tended toward the painful rather then the “on the edge” sexy. For the most part each short story I read seemed almost to be more bland then the next. Most of the stories seem to be more akin to soft porn or perhaps rated “R” and that was not what I was looking for.

Lastly, the price was definitely not worth the content of the book. Perhaps if I had only spent a few dollars on this book I might not have felt so cheated, but for $15.00 I felt as if I have to read the whole book just to get my money's worth. I kept reading only to try to find something worth the money I spent. Frankly, I can find better writing, more variety, and more arousing stories on the free sites on line, which is where I will look for the next story.

I would recommend this book only to those who like “R” rated or soft porn type stuff, or to people who like their books short. For me personally, the one or two decent stories in this book did not make up for the rest of the sub-par contributions. I will not purchase anything by this editor again.

My experience made me want to go out and work in the yard rather then have sex with my wife.
