I have come to love the Cake brand products. They make your skin feel silky smooth, and I have never had any issues with them.

I purchased the Escape duo as a gift for my mom's birthday, which normally she loves bath and body items. I didn't open it prior to giving it to her thinking that the name in it self meant quality. My mom hated it.
She didn't mind the scent, she said is was tropical and inviting and that it filled her bathroom with a nice coconut scent after her shower. What happened next was the not so sweet part.

A few hours after her shower I received a call stating that her skin felt really dry and tight, and I said "maybe its just from using a new shower gel". She agreed and said she would try it again the next day. At 7am I got a call to let me know that she was headed to the emergency room. I guess something in it caused her to have some sort of allergic reaction. She had hives all over.

I went home and tried the shower gel that I had, it was the same scent. I had no issues. I did notice that my skin was a little more dry than normal but I didn't have a reaction like my mother did. I personally would stay away from this if you have an allergy to scents or sensitive skin.

The set does come in a nice cardboard box, with the companies logo and a picture of the product on it. The box is perfect for gifting. This would make a great gift for just about anyone... I would just make sure before giving it to them, that they don't sensitive skin.

We had no issues with the lotion, it left my skin silky smooth as expected.

I really wanted to like this set but I just don't. I prefer more heavily scented body washes and lotions, and this kind of left me wanting more. I did notice that over time it also began making my skin very dry, causing dry patches and some discomfort. The lotion was no help with relieving this. I would not purchase this again!
