Sweet scape desserted island duo - bath and shower gel discontinued by Cake Beauty - review by Lady Neshamah

I know that I drive my husband nuts with all the bath stuff that I have and my boyfriend gets into it every time he's over. But I really do have to admit that I do have a ton of the stuff. If there is a new type of bath goodie here on Eden, I am going to have to get my little paws on it to try it out.

I picked up the Sweet Scape Desserted Island Duo to try it out. It is a set of body wash and hand lotion. The body wash comes in a seventeen point four ounce bottle with a pop top. The hand lotion comes in a three point four ounce tube with a flip top. Both of them have a vanilla cake scent to them. The lotion is very thick and does soak into the skin very well. The body wash is light and it doesn't take much to really suds up. The hand lotion is made out of water/eau, glycerin, cetyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, cetearyl alcohol, cetearet-20, dimethicone, stearic acid, althaea officinalis (marshmallow) extract, milk lipid, mangifera indica (mango) eeed butter, butyrospermum parkii (shea butter) phenoxyethanol, caprylyl glycol, sorbic acid, parfum (fragrance), carbomer, sodium hydroxide, and tetrasodium EDTA. The body wash is made out of water (aqua), sodium laureth sulfate, cocamidopropyl betaine, glycerin, PEG-7 glyceryl cocoate, laureth-7, cocamide MEA, glycol distearate, parfum (fragrance), vitamin E (tocopheryl acetate), cocos nucifera (coconut oil), phenoxyethanol (and) caprylyl glycol (and) sorbic acid, tetrasodium EDTA, benzophenone-4, and citric acid.

The scent was wonderful. It's a bit powerful and will hold on the skin for a long time. The scent of the lotion even lasts longer on the hands. The lotion scent even lasted after washing my hands a few times. It's strong, but it does smell really good.

The body wash was wonderful. It has that same fell that the body washes from Bath and Body Works has. It only takes a little bit in your puff to get a good suds going. Or put about a cap full under the warm running water to set up a nice bubble bath.

Sadly, I blasted though my Sweet Scape Desserted Island Duo much faster than I thought that I would. Don't get me wrong, I love it but it just didn't last that long at all.
