Nice for every now and then.

Overall, this is a good product if you are looking for something different to wake up to in the shower; a relaxing cake smell. If you want something to use all the time, I think you will get tired of the smell, but that could just be me. If you do not have really dry hands, then maybe the cream will work well, even though it did not for me.

Use

I think the best use for the Sweet scape desserted island duo would be in the shower (body wash) and on-the-go, at work, or in your home (hand creme). I think this product is for females in any age range, but males could even use it if they like the smell of cake. I think the bath and shower froth is best used when you are looking for an awakening smell, but it was not something I wanted to smell everyday. The hand cream is best used after your shower so the creme and smell can absorb better. The shower froth contains water, sodium coco sulphate, parfum, coconut oil, vitamin E, and some other ingredients. The hand creme contains water, marshmallow extract, mango seed butter, shea butter, and others.

The shower froth is a little bit runny compared to what I am used to, but overall, is a decent consistency which makes it come out of the bottle easily. It also feels good on the skin, lathers nicely, but not a crazy amount, and leaves your skin feeling clean.

The Velveteen hand creme has just the right amount of thickness. You do have to squeeze the bottle a little to get it out, so it is not runny at all. After applying the creme on my hands, it did leave an oily, original feeling, but was fine after it dried into the skin and left my hands smooth.

I did like the smell, but not for everyday use. The only thing I could really smell in both of the items was cake, the other smells really did not stand out for me. When you first use the products, the smell is a little strong, but does not last very long. I used these products a few days a week, and not on the same days, as I did not want to over do it with the smell.

Performance

While I did feel clean after using the body wash, the smell did not last very long at all. When using the hand creme, my skin felt soft right after using, but I don't feel like it lasted for a long period of time compared to some other products out there. For an every now and then use, I like the smell. At the same time, for an everyday use, the smell is a little to much. These products are a love/hate type thing to me (hard to explain).
