A Lovely Massage Kit

This is a wonderful kit for pampering your partner and yourself. I love it for taking a bath or giving each other massages. The smells don't bother my boyfriend (who has a sensitive nose), and we didn't have much trouble washing it off his back.

Use

This kit was a great buy for us, because I love baths and we both love massages. It was a bit overwhelming at first when we opened it because there were so many containers, but it's nice to have options. You'll find options for body oil, lotion, massages, or bath foam or bath essence.

It includes
- Package of 30 Rose Petals
- Package of 2 Dice
- 1 oz. Rendezvous Aphrodisiac Infused Room and Linen Freshener
- 1 oz. Smitten Aphrodisiac Infused Invigorating Bath Essence
- 1 oz. Lovephoria Aphrodisiac Infused Sensual Massage Oil
- 1 oz. Sweet Crush Aphrodisiac Infused Lickable Body Drizzle
- 1 oz. Lovephoria Aphrodisiac Infused Hydrating Body Lotion
- 1 oz. Aphrodisiac Infused Invigorating Bath Foam
- Massager (which doesn't have a seam like other massagers of its type, but it's still too hard)

I think it is best for unwinding, with a partner or by yourself. But you need to be sure, particularly with the lotions and oils, that you wash your hands thoroughly if you are going to be using a condom later. This is the main thing that frustrates me about this kit: that if you will be using a condom, you can't just transition from a massage to having sex (a problem with all massage oils though). But it does give you an excuse to shower together to wash it off afterwards!

And I was happy to find that the smells didn't seem to bother my boyfriend, who has a sensitive nose.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The main item we have used is the body oil, which dispensed easily (and didn't dispense too much). I was able to squirt a bit on different parts of his back. Over time (after maybe ten minutes of rubbing), it mostly got absorbed into his skin and I had to reapply it. I didn't mind too much, but an ounce isn't much so we will probably run out of it after a few more massages.

I used it on his back, neck, arms and legs with a towel under him, and it stayed in place pretty well. None of it dripped onto the towel. It left his skin feeling soft. And obviously the lotion stayed in place well but wasn't as easy to spread since lotion gets absorbed more quickly.

The bath foam lathers easily and is easy to wash off. I haven't used the air freshener since I think it would irritate my boyfriend's nose. The bath essence is oily and thick, and leaves the skin feeling soft.

The massager is very hard, like other massagers of its type (for four prongs and a handle in the middle between each two). And he liked that it doesn't have a seam like our other massager. But the exertion it takes to push it across the skin seems to hurt him a bit (or else I'm just gliding it over and it doesn't feel like much). Our best use for it has been massaging his back over a shirt. I don't have to press as hard to move it so he seems to like it better.

Taste / Aroma

Obviously I haven't tasted the non-edible things, and we haven't used the body drizzle because it is grape-flavored and it didn't appeal to us (pretty much the worst fruit flavor for a product to lick off of someone!). It smells like a grape jolly rancher and the other items all had pleasant, fruity smells. I thought they all smelled really nice.

Performance

We didn't have much trouble washing the oil and lotion off his back. It leaves your skin feeling soft and smelling nice. I like that it comes with the rose petals, which is a cute idea, but I don't think we'll get any mileage on the dice. Maybe it depends on the couple, but we tried rolling them and didn't really want to do half of these things (and the other half we would just do anyway). Who wants their ears oiled up?

The first dice options:
-Nibble
-Lick
-Kiss
-Rub Vibe
-Oil up
-Your choice

The second dice options:
-Lips
-Toes
-Ears
-Chest
-Neck

    • Needs to be washed off with soap and water

Packaging

We were very impressed with the packaging. The kit comes in a deep box with everything set in a foam mold towards the top. It has a luxurious feel to it and I like the idea of the rose petals. The massager seemed a bit cheap to me. The main problem was that it is pretty easy to get the little containers confused because a lot of them are the same color box (like black with an orange stripe or a purple stripe). Maybe you're not supposed to store them in the little boxes to make it easier to read the labels? I guess I do anyway because they look so nice.

This would make a wonderful gift, for your partner or for someone else; massages aren't necessarily sexual, so I would feel comfortable giving this to a friend or a family member even though I would never buy them something like a vibrator.
