Pheromones lotion - lotion discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by SRose

Although the scent of this lotion is delicious and attractive, it hasn't proven to show any particular effect on those around me who do not have close personal contact, as I have heard it might. My boyfriend does notice that I smell really good to him and immediately comments when he hugs me or is otherwise in close proximity when I'm wearing it. Possibly the best part of it is that he doesn't seem to know why I smell so good or have any idea that I've done anything different than usual with my daily routine.

Also, I have very sensitive skin and breakout from most synthetic ingredients. This lotion does not irritate my skin at all and leaves it soft for a long time after application. I use mostly petroleum-free and naturally scented or unscented products and this fits right in to the rest of the personal products I use on a daily basis. When it was warmer out the scent of this lotion "warmed up" nicely on my skin. Now that it's cold out it also works well because I am indoors and generally closer to other people in a contained space. Maybe the pleasant disposition people have around me at times is because of this lotion, or maybe it's in reaction to the pleasant feelings I have when I wear it.

It's also a nice size package. It's larger than I expected, but small enough to throw into my toiletry bag for travel. (Although the label is somewhat loud about the product containing pheromones and I wouldn't want to leave it laying around a bathroom where someone would see it.) It can be used on hands and body, and applied as often or infrequently as you like. It's a lingering but not overwhelming scent, even when applied liberally.

I still think this lotion smells great, and with dry winter weather here I'm having even more excuses to use it. While I don't think it does make any obvious difference to my boyfriend or anyone else around me during daily use, it does provide a nice addition to a soothing massage.
