Buttery Soft

This is a sweet smelling treat of a body butter. Moisturizes skin without being greasy. Great for feet, hands, elbows, and knees. This cute 8 oz. jar comes packed full of lotion! Good for those with sensitive skin. May not be good for those with sensitivity to dairy or nut oils.

Cake - Milk Made Nourishing Body Butter

This is from the label, "Nourish, smooth and care for your skin with this delectably rich body butter. This highly nourishing formula is packed with the best ingredients and whipped to perfection to soothe, smooth and hydrate your skin. Infused with scents of whole vanilla milk & baked raspberry, this butter glides on beautifully, absorbs quickly and gices skin a spectacular and supple finish. (Don't be surprised if the Milk Man comes calling) Au lait!"

Cake VS. Fancy lotions

Milk Made Nourishing Body Butter by Cake is just lovely. It is a thicker butter that goes on smooth and doesn't leave your skin greasy or overly perfumed. It works well on dry hands, feet, elbows, and knees. This lotion looks like a creamy white icing just waiting to be spread on whatever or whomever you need moisturized. It goes on easily and gets absorbed quickly and smells stronger in the tub than on the skin. It would make a nice gift idea for Mom or anyone.

This body butter comes in a white hard plastic tub with a screw on lid. It is a medium sized tub compared to the other 8 oz. butters I have in my collection. The label's design is simple, but cute, going with the pink and white theme that most of the other Cake products have. I love how easy to read this container is. They put everything you would need or want to know right out in the open. Not in teeny tiny print, either!

This body butter contains: coconut oil, mango butter, macadamia nut oil, aloe vera oil, sunflower seed oil, and whole milk.

It leaves out all the nasty things like: parabens, sodium chloride, phthalates, GMO's, mineral oil, petrolatum, gluten, and triclosan.

Igredients: Aqua/Water/Eau, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric triglyceride, Cetyl alcohol, Stearic Acid, Sunflower (Helianthus annuus) seed oil, Cocos nucifera (Coconut) oil, Macadamia integrifolia seed oil, Mangifera indica (Mango) seed butter, PEG-100 strearate, Glyceryl stearate, Ceteareth-20, Cetearyl alcohol, Isopropyl palmiate, Dimethicone, Tocopheryl acetate, Aloe barbadensis leaf juice, Hydrolyzed Milk Protein, Fragrance (Parfum), Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sorbic Acid, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Benzophenone-3, Tetrasodium EDTA

I love the look and texture of this body butter. It looks like white frosting! This stuff is thick! I can hold the jar upside down and shake it... and the butter doesn't move at all! The label says it's whipped, but it feels too thick and rich to be whipped. It looks a little glossy, but that's probably all the different nourishing oils in it. It's quickly absorbed into your skin and takes no effort to rub in. Remember, a little goes a long way!

Different textures

After a quick rub in... Cake is absorbed better!

Milk Made Nourishing Body Butter smells very light and sweet. It smells a little like vanilla ice cream and very faintly of rasberries or some other kind of berry. It smells a lot stronger in the tub then on the skin. If I set the jar on the table with the lid off and stand a foot away from it, I can't smell it. I can't smell it on my skin unless I bring my hands up to my face. But even then, just barely. The smell lasts less then thirty minutes on the body. It smells so yummy, I went ahead and braved a taste for you guys. No taste! I didn't think it was edible anyway.

This body butter may not be suitable for those with nut or dairy allergies!
Experience
I really enjoyed using the Milk Made Body Butter. I'm somewhat of a lotion, cream, and body butter addict. I have an entire drawer full! It's so rich and thick, you would think it had shea butter in it. The thickness of this cream was amazing. It worked great for massages, it smells yummy, my skin just soaks it up like you wouldn't believe! Even my boyfriend likes to use it.

I have very sensitive skin and it didn't irritate me at all. The scent wasn't overpowering like I was expecting. It was so nice to see a container that is FULL when you open it. I get so tired of buying a big jar of something and get home to find out is less then half full, don't you?

I wouldn't suggest going outside after applying this. I did and got sunburned badly where the butter was rubbed in. Everywhere else was fine.
Follow-up commentary
My tub is still 3/4's full and I use it generously on my hands and feet almost daily. They've gotten much softer since I started using it. I still love the raspberry vanilla scent, it's delicious!

I bought a tub of Cake's Body Butter for my mother and she loves it, too.
