Berry Sweet

If you're looking for a sweet smelling treat to hydrate your skin, you can't go wrong with Cake's Milk Made nourishing body butter. The sweet scent of raspberries is paired with the light touch of vanilla. This stuff is great for dry skin and is thick for a great hydrating experience.

Cake's Milke Made nourishing body butter is a thick, creamy, all over body moisturizer. It's great for dry skin or just every day use. Use it when you get out of the shower or bath, or just anytime you feel like you need to moisturize. Use it on your arms, legs, feet and hands. Since it isn't specified as a face cream, I would avoid using it as such if your face breaks out easily.

Due to the sweet smell, I would say this is for women; I'm not sure there are too many men that would want to smell like this lotion.

The ingredients are:
Aqua/Water/Eau, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric triglyceride, Cetyl alcohol, Stearic acid, Sunflower (Helianthus annuus) seed oil, Cocos nucifera (Coconut) oil, Macadamia integrifolia seed oil, Mangifera indica (Mango) seed butter, PEG-100 stearate, Glyceryl stearate, Ceteareth-20, Cetearyl alcohol, Isopropyl palmiate, Dimethicone, Tocopheryl acetate, Aloe barbadensis leaf juice, Hydrolyzed Milk Protein, Fragrance (Parfum), Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sorbic Acid, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Benzophenone-3, Tetrasodium EDTA

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Milk Made body butter is thicker than your every day lotion. It doesn't run, it stays where you put it and requires a little more muscle work to rub it into your skin than a thinner lotion does. It feels great on, it's very creamy and leaves your skin feeling hydrated. It doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy, gross, or sticky. It absorbs well into the skin and doesn't feel heavy at all.

Taste / Aroma

Milk Made has a sweet raspberry scent with a hint of vanilla. The berry scent stands out more to me. This scent is more subtle than the other two Cake scents. I wish the scent was a little stronger than it is. The scent stays on your skin for hours, but you have to be close to really smell it after an hour or so unless you re-apply it. The scent reminds me of raspberry ice cream.

How long it lasts just depends on your skin type. I constantly re-apply lotion throughout the day to my hands and arms; I just like feeling soft and hydrated, so I apply it more than probably the average person. I like the thick lotions and body butters because they seem to last longer than thin, runny lotions.
It can be washed off with soap and water if needed.
It's great for dry winter skin, especially when you start to feel itchy! It really hydrates well and leaves you smelling exceptionally sweet! It's great to apply after using the body wash/foam in the same scent.

The butter comes in a plastic jar which means you have to use your fingers to get it out. It lists the scent, ingredients and manufacturer information. It's nothing fancy, just simple. It can be stacked under or on top of other cosmetic items because it's flat.
Follow-up commentary
I love the thickness of body butters, how creamy and smooth it feels. The scent of Milk made was amazing- sweet berry and vanilla. I'm sad to see this line leave Eden, I could never afford to buy this from a retailer at this price, especially when B&BW runs specials, has coupons and their stuff smells just as good. It's worth it if you want to pay the price. It leaves your skin feeling smooth and smelling great!
