Simply Sensual body lotion from Classic Erotica is a great lotion that will take your dry, rough skin and moisturize it while leaving a fresh, light scent in its place.

This lotion seems a little more feminine than not, but anyone can appreciate the benefits of having smooth, hydrated skin. On top of anyone being able to use it, it can be used on any area of the body; legs, arms, feet, hands, etc. Anywhere you suffer from dry skin or are looking to keep your smooth skin hydrated, this product can be used.

This lotion does say it contains pheromones, but other than that, this is not a sexual product. While you could use it to rub down your partner, it's not made for massage, isn't an oral enhancer, and shouldn't be used on the genitals during sex or otherwise. This is simply a lotion, nothing beyond that.

If you have sensitive skin, you'll want to test a small area of your body and see how your skin reacts to it. If you notice that there's any irritation, it's best to stop using this product and find something else that is specifically made for sensitive skin.

This product does contain glycerin, but is paraben free. Always take a look through the ingredients before using, especially if you have sensitivities to certain ingredients.

Simply Sensual is a very thin lotion. It's not really creamy, but instead has a very wet feeling to it. It's thin enough that it will eventually run off your body if you don't rub it in right away, but it's thick enough that it takes a while for that to happen.


The wet feeling also transfers to whichever area of your body you're applying it to. This might be a little annoying for a moment, but the feeling is soon relieved because of how quickly the lotion absorbs. Because of the thin consistency, it doesn't feel like you have a layer of lotion covering your skin, it's light at first, and in less than a minute after rubbing it in, you can't feel it at all. When you touch the skin that you've applied it to, it feels silky smooth and totally soft, not greasy or oily like some lotions. It truly leaves behind nothing but smooth skin and a light scent.

The top of the bottle has a cap where you press on one side and the other pops up. The lotion flows easily through this area, but it does make it possible to end up squeezing out a little too much. The positive side is that you don't have to worry about it being clogged when you're trying to dispense the lotion.

This lotion is available in three scents; Ginger/Pomegranate, White Lavender, and Green Tea. Green Tea is the scent I'm currently reviewing, but I've had the opportunity to smell/use all three.

The Green Tea scent is light and clean smelling. It does remind me of some other green tea scented products I've used, but is a little off in comparison. The scent isn't really floral, but it's hard to pick out exactly what I'm smelling. It's light and fresh, but sort of reminds me of something an older person would wear. It doesn't smell like a 20-something year old would wear it, in my opinion.

The scent is fairly strong when you first apply it, but like most lotions, it fades throughout the day. After about an hour, you would have to put your nose against your skin in order to smell it, but it remains strong enough to smell on your skin for hours after application. It's not something that would overpower someone else if you were near them, even when first applied, but someone would be able to smell it if they were close enough to hug you, for example. How long it lasts will depend on your skin and your activity level, so results will vary.

This product is not made for consumption, but if your partner were to put their mouth on your body after the lotion was applied, they would be overcome with a soapy taste. Not bad enough that it would make them gag, but it's nothing pleasant. Once the lotion has been on your skin for a while the taste is less obvious and far less offensive.

As far as making your skin feel silky smooth to the touch, this product is awesome! It feels light and comfortable and won't make your pores feel clogged or like there's a heavy coating of something laying on top of your skin. It really does moisturize and doesn't feel like you need to reapply all the time. Applying once in the morning should work for most of the day, depending on how active you are.

The scent is only okay in my opinion. It does smell fresh and isn't overpowering, but it doesn't smell like something a younger person would wear. If you put this lotion on and find that the scent is too annoying to tolerate, you can trying washing it off with soap and water, but some of the scent will still linger. Taking a shower is really the only way to completely eliminate the scent if you find it bothers you that much.

If the scent was a little bit better, I would consider this to be a 5 star product because of how amazing it feels on my skin. However, since the scent isn't quite my taste, I'm giving it a 4 star rating.

When the bottle first arrives at your house, it's inside a small plastic bag to prevent anything else in your shipping box from getting damaged should the bottle happen to leak. After removing the bottle from the bag, you need to unscrew the cap and remove the safety seal that's over the opening of the bottle. Once the cap is replaced, you're ready to dispense the lotion.

The bottle itself is made of a clear plastic and has a slightly clear looking cap. The bottle contains 6 fl. oz. of the lotion, so it's a fairly compact size, but would need to be added to a smaller bottle if you were planning on flying with it since it doesn't fit into TSA's liquid rules.

The label on the bottle is discreet in the sense that there's no nudity and it's not distasteful, but there are a few things that that would make it obvious that this product is intended for adult use. The name itself, the fact that it has pheromones, and the fact that it says it's 'Intended for Adult Pleasure'. These things are small and will only be noticed if someone were to pick up the bottle and really read the label. Nothing about the bottle screams that it came from a sex shop, especially when mixed in with other lotions and body products.

The label provides the appropriate information needed for an item like this, but can also be removed if you're extremely modest and don't want anyone to know you have a product that contains pheromones.

This would make a nice addition to a gift basket for an adult female friend, but might seem a little lacking on its own. I actually gifted some of the White Lavender to someone at Christmas, but put it in a glass bottle instead.

This lotion makes a special point to say that it contains pheromones. I've used a lot of products that contain pheromones and none have ever worked the way you would expect. This lotion is no different. While it might work for you, I wouldn't suggest purchasing this product (or one similar to it) simply because it contains pheromones.
