Happily ever after with this cream

The Happily Ever After Whipped Body Creme is a perfect body cream! Pleasant texture, adorable fragrance, great moisturizing - it has everything that I want from a body cream. The one thing that concerns me is that some ingredients are not very safe and may cause allergy.

The Happily Ever After Whipped Body Creme from Bella Il Fiore is meant to moisturize your skin and make it soft and smooth. The package claims that the cream even heals tired and stressed skin using natural oils and pure aloe vera. It also sais that the cream is enriched with Vitamins E and A and extracts of chamomile, ginseng and calendula. This cream is perfect to moisturize your skin after a shower or a bath, after shaving or just whenever you want to moisturize it.

Although the Happily Ever After Body Creme is not all natural, it includes components that are really good for the skin, such as different flowers extracts and several oils. The list of ingredients is: aloe barbadensis leaf extract, prunis armeniaca (apricot) kernel oil, butylene-glycol, stearyl alcohol, stearic acid, cetearyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, PEG-100 stearate, Santhemis nobilis (chamomile) flower extract, panax ginseng extract, Scamellia sinensis (green tea) leaf extract, Scentaurea cyanus (cornflower) extract, calendula officinalis flower extract, olea europaea (olive) oil, vitis vinifera (grape) seed oil, oryza sativa (rice) bran oil, tocopheryl acetate (Vitamin E), retinyl palmitate, allantoin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, squalane, polysorbate 60, carbomer, dimethicone, tetrasodium edta, phenoxyethanol, ethylhexyglycerin, triethanolamine, fragrance.

Be careful, some ingredients may cause allergy. I advice you to read carefully information about each of ingredient in the list. Before I did, I wanted to rate this cream 5 stars, but I changed my mind, because not all of the ingredients are safe.

You can use this cream all over your body, but it is not meant to be used as a lubricant, so don't put it on the intimate areas.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

When I read on the product page that this is a whipped cream I thought that its texture would be something like the texture of the whipped Philadelphia cheese or some hair mousse. And because of this I was afraid that this cream would be too light to provide deep good moisturizing. When I opened the package I was so happy I was wrong.

The texture is not too thin, but it is not thick and heavy either, it is very pleasant. It is nowhere near being runny, or sticky, or oily, or greasy. When you apply the cream on your skin it stays in place, distributes easily and evenly and feels very nice. The cream absorbs well into the skin (after some rubbing), leaving it smooth, soft and silky for the long time. The cream provides perfect moisturizing - the skin feels very comfortable during the whole day.

Taste / Aroma

At first I wanted to order the Happily Ever After Body Creme with the almond / coconut fragrance, but it was out of stock and I easily changed my mind to the grapefruit / honeysuckle version. And guess what, I'm not regretting it! The aroma is sweet and floral, I definitely can smell the honeysuckle in it, at the same time there is a citrus note of grapefruit. It is one of these fragrances that I call tasty - you just want to eat it!

The aroma is quite strong (but not overpowering) and long-lasting. When I apply this cream I don't need to use perfume, because my skin already smells very nice, and other people can smell it too. The aroma is noticeable during the whole day.

I adore products (being body cream or shaving cream or massage oil) that smell nice - this is my little weakness. From this point the Happily Ever After Body Creme is just perfect for me! I adore it.

This cream is not edible, so do not taste it.
    • Smells good
    • Strong smell

The Happily Ever After Body Creme is everything that I ever wanted from the body cream. It works amazingly! It has perfect pleasant creamy texture and gorgeous aroma, which can even substitute perfume. The cream distributes well and you don't need to use a large amount of it. It absorbs into the skin easily and doesn't leave any uncomfortable feeling, just the opposite it leaves the skin smooth and silky. The cream moisturizes the skin very good and you don't feel any discomfort during the whole day. It is just perfect!
    • Absorbs into skin nicely
    • Long lasting

The Happily Ever After Body Creme comes in a semi-transparent pink plastic container with the black cup. On the front side there are the names of the product and the company and the fragrance. On the backside there is the list of ingredients and some properties of the product. There are no other instructions or information with this product. The container looks very pretty, so it would make a nice gift (but only for woman, being pink and feminine).

One more good thing about this cream is that the container is quite large, even for a body cream: 12 fl.oz (354 ml) and it is chock-full with cream, so I can enjoy it for a long time.

    • Does not leak
    • Easy to use / dispense
    • Would make a nice gift

Personal comments

I was totally in love with the Happily Ever After Body Creme before I read the list of ingredients. Some of them, such as PEG-100 Stearate, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Retinyl Palmitate and some others are not very safe. The good thing is that most of them are located in the end of the list, which means that the cream doesn't contain much of them. Although I still love how the cream works, I am a bit concerned about its safety.

A couple days ago I put the Happily Ever After Body Creme on my legs in the morning and went to work. I also put the perfume as I always do. At work everyone asked what perfume do I wear, because everyone liked it, but the aroma they smelled wasn't the perfume, it was the Happily Ever After Body Creme. Actually I didn't smell the real perfume aroma myself, only the cream aroma.
