Leaves Your Skin Feeling Moisturized and Smelling Yummy!

The Bella Il Fiore Whipped Body Creme is a great body product that moisturizes your skin, leaving it feeling soft and smooth. I really like the subtle scent of sweet coconut that it leaves on my skin. It also does not irritate my skin which I often worry about when trying new bath and beauty products. The price is a bit high, but it really is an excellent product if you feel like splurging.

extremely useful review
I purchased the Whipped Body Crème by Bella Il Fiore when it was on sale. I typically would not spend so much money on a moisturizer, but being the bath product nut that I am, I just had to try it. I purchased the Almond coconut crème, but it is also available in a grapefruit/honeysuckle scent.

The only packaging for this product is the plastic jar that the crème is in. It is a 12 Fl Oz /354 mL jar with a black twist-on lid which is quite secure (so the product should not leak, even if placed upside down). The front of the jar states the brand, name of the product, and the scent, all in a swirled, feminine design. The back of the packaging has a brief product description, company contact information, and the ingredient list.

The ingredients listed on the back of the product are slightly different then what is posted on the product page. The ingredients as listed on the product are as follows: Aloe barbadensis leaf extract, prunis armeniaca (apricot) kernel oil, butylene-glycol, stearyl alcohol, stearic acid, cetearyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, PEG-100 stearate, anthemis nobilis (chamomile) flower extract, panax ginseng extract, camellia sinensis (green tea) leaf extract, centaurea cyanus (cornflower) extract, calendula officinalis flower extract, olea europaea (olive) oil, vitis vinifera (grape) seed oil, oryza sativa (rice) bran oil, tocopheryl acetate (Vitamin E), retinyl palmitate, allantoin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, squalane, polysorbate 60, carbomer, dimethicone, tetrasodium edta, phenoxyethanol, ethylhexyglycerin, triethanolamine, fragrance.

The almond coconut scent smells very sweet and the coconut seems to be the dominant scent of the two. When the crème is first applied to the skin, it is quite a strong scent, but after a few minutes, it absorbs into the skin and you are left with a subtle scent that is not bothersome. The scent does stay on the skin until washed, but the longer it has been on your skin, the more the scent seems to fade in strength.

The crème is white in colour. The crème reminds me of vanilla pudding when it comes to thickness, etc. Even my partner agreed that the first thing he thought of when I scooped some out was vanilla pudding. The crème is light, but is not runny. It applies very well to the skin, and feels smooth when applying. You do not need to use much of the crème to cover a large area of your body, which means that the 12 oz. jar will last you for many, many applications.

The crème is an excellent moisturizer; it absorbs into the skin well, and leaves the skin that it was applied to feeling soft and smooth.

My skin is quite sensitive and I did not have any reactions or felt any irritation when I applied the product to my arms, legs, and stomach. There are certain areas of my body that I would not apply the product to because they are extra sensitive (chest, face, etc) because I do not want any negative reactions. If you do not have sensitive skin, you should not have a problem with this product, regardless where you apply it (though it should not be applied internally), and if you have sensitive skin, you should not have a problem either (but this can vary depending on how sensitive your skin is and how your body will react to the different ingredients in the product).

My partner tried a bit of the crème and said that it felt a bit greasy on his skin. I did not experience any greasy, oily feelings on my skin, other than on my hands, which I had used to apply the crème all over my body. After I had washed my hands, there was no longer any greasy feeling to them, and there was still a faint smell of the coconut on them.

Overall, I give this product a 4 out of 5. The scent is lovely, and it’s a great moisturizer, but it loses a star for the high price. I’ve used products similar to the Bella Il Fiore Whipped Body Crème that moisturized just as well, and smelled just as lovely, but for a fraction of the cost. I probably will not invest in another jar when this one is finished, just because it is a bit too expensive. If it goes on sale again though, I’ll definitely be stockpiling!
Follow-up commentary
I liked the Whipped Body Creme at first but I rarely used it afterwards. It's not a bad product or anything but the price is high and I've got products that I prefer over this one. I won't be purchasing another.
