Whipped body creme - lotion by Bella Il Fiore - review by XxFallenAngelxX

Happy after I used this!

If you have normal, dry, or oily skin, this can work for you. It has vitamins that are nourishing and the bottom line is that it does what it is intended to do. It moisturizes the skin and makes it soft. It also keeps it that way for many hours. You can feel the results of this luxurious cream for quite some time. This is a Whipped body creme that is a definite keeper!
Smooth texture, thick consistency, long lasting
Scent is a bit strong for my liking

The Bella Fiore whipped body creme is a cream that will make your skin go wild! It has soothing properties such as aloe vera, vitamin E, and chamomile. You can use this after bath, before bed or any time in general that your skin may need softening. You could take some to work in a small, travel bottle because if you are like me and use your hands quite often during the day, you need something thicker than a lot of hand creams out on the market today. My hands and feet tend to dry out the quickest so this product works well for all over body areas. I personally wouldn't use this on my face. Be sure to not use on mucous membranes like inside the mouth or in the vaginal area, because it does have glycerin and other ingredients that can cause some issues with certain people. If you are known to have an allergy to one of the ingredients below, please test on your skin on a small area before using a large amount, just for safety precautions.

The ingredients listed in this product are:

Aloe Vera Gel, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Apricot Kernel Oil, Butylene Glycol, Stearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Polysorbate-60, Stearic Acid, Olive Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Squalane, Rice Bran Oil, Extracts of Chamomile, Ginseng, Green Tea, Cornflower, Calendula, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A), Allantoin, Dimethicone, Phenoxyethanol, Carbomer, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Tetrasodium EDTA, Triethanolamine, Fragrance.

The body creme jar states that it is paraben free and they do not perform testing on animals with this product. I did find a discrepancy with the paraben free statement because in the ingredient list, it does contain parabens such as:

Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben. Use at your own discretion.

The fragrance is almond coconut and the coconut stands out in this creme.

The jar states that this is a creme, so I will refer to it how the jar identifies it.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Upon opening the body creme, I first noticed the smooth texture. It wasn't gritty and it had a nice thick viscosity. I was able to take a small amount and rub it on the top portion of my hand and it stayed thick for quite some time. I had to keep rubbing it in for a longer length of time just to get it to absorb into my skin.

Once it absorbed, it really made my hand feel moisturized. My hand immediately looked shiny and younger in appearance.

It felt incredibly silky, like after I receive a paraffin treatment. The creme does not run. Believe me, I tried. I took a scoop out of the jar with my fingers and placed it into my palm, I then turned my hand upside down and the creme stayed! It didn't budge. I even acted out as to fling my hand and nothing happened.

This is one major creme, I tell you! It didn't leave a greasy feeling or an oily feeling. If I could describe the "just right" feeling, that would be it. I used the creme on one hand and left one hand with nothing on it. I checked back a few hours later on both hands and noted that the right hand was very dry feeling and the left was still moisturized and much softer than the right hand. It is very creamy in consistency and it's one of the types of cremes that work great for my skin.

Taste / Aroma

The smell of this product was the only issue that I had with it. Let me tell you, the smell lasts a while. It was still noticeable after washing my hands in another scented soap. There was still a faint smell of the coconut lingering. I'm not a fan of coconut if it has a strong smell. If it's blended nicely with a fruity fragrance, it can work. In the case of the body creme, it overpowered the almond, in my personal opinion.

If you indeed love coconut, you should be in Heaven with the scent. I do smell the almond but the coconut overpowers it. I would like to try the other fragrance in this creme because it may be a better smell for me.
Either way, this creme still works for me because I can use on my legs and feet and not worry about the smell.

Just for you guys, I took a tip of a toothpick and stuck it in the creme and did a light taste on the tip of my tongue. It was pretty nasty and a bit bitter. If you have small children around, and they somehow get into it and taste a bit, I'm almost positive that they won't try anymore. Be sure to put it up away from the little ones, just in case.

The creme lasted on my arm and hand for many hours. Many, meaning 4-5 hours and it's still going. The thickness helped in determining how good this product was going to be. This is far from runny. The thick, smooth texture won me over. It's great on so many levels because with winter coming, most of us tend to get drier skin from the heat in our homes. This will work wonders! The best part is that it sticks around and it's nourishing to the skin. Vitamin E is one of the best products for the skin and this whipped body creme has it! It also has Aloe vera, another excellent source for healthy skin. Add in calendula and ginseng and you have a hot commodity on your hands. I know that my feet and legs are going to look their best this fall and winter. I have some of the best body creme around now, thanks to Bella Fiore. This compares to the Victoria's Secret Body butter and I think that it's just as good as Bath and Body Works, if not better. It absorbs into the skin and it stays, even after washing. Many products can't do that. I was amazed that the scent and the soft feeling was still on my hands after a washing. That is something to boast about. I like that it can be a whipped creme while still thicker. Those types of cremes are the best for my body care.

I received the jar in a clear plastic bag that was tied up to ensure that it would not leak out into box if damaged by the mail system. Inside the lid, it has the safety caplet that lines the lid so it doesn't leak out. Once you unscrew the lid, you just simply pull off the plastic safety top. The jar is a heavy plastic and the lid is a thinner, lightweight plastic. If you wanted to travel with this, I would suggest putting some into a small travel container or a bag because the jar is heavy. My jar when first opened was 15.5 ounces in weight.

This jar that we are speaking of is not small in size by any means. It is heavy and may last someone a long time. For me, not so much. I go through lotions, creams and body butters like crazy. If my skin gets dry, it drives me insane.

The jar is 3- 1/4 inches tall, 11- 1/4 inches in circumference and 3.5 inches in diameter. The jar is 12 fl. oz. full of this wonderful, luxurious creme. This is a big jar. It also comes very full, unlike some commercial lotions. You know what I mean. I go to the store and buy my favorite cream, get it home and open it up and the jar has 1/4 missing out of it. That is so discouraging. This product more than makes up for those other creams.

The jar states to heal tired, stressed skin with natural oils and pure aloe vera. It's enriched with Vitamins E and A and extracts of chamomile, ginseng and calendula. This indulgent body creme leaves skin silky and smooth.

The jar also has the ingredients on the back with a bar code, the company website - (bellabeauty.net) and it states that the product was made in the USA.

This is discreet and can be placed with your other bath and body products. There is nothing on here to have to hide from others. The jar screws on nicely and does not leak. I tested it by holding it upside down over my sink and I even shook it around and nothing came out. The lid to the jar is extremely easy to open and shut. It is the screw on type and it closes well.
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Very informative packaging
    • Would make a nice gift

Special Features

The Bella Fiore Whipped body creme does not leave any weird sensations on the skin, it does not tingle, sting, or burn. It hasn't given me any allergic reactions and seems to work well for my skin type which is normal. Since this is not oily or greasy, this should be perfect for all skin tones. Do not use this product on open cuts or sores.

Personal comments

Once I discovered that the whipped body creme was so thick, I immediately knew that it would be a favorite of mine. I tend to buy thicker creams and lotions because I like the way they feel on my skin. I also find that body cremes and butters last much longer than a normal body lotion. This creme may cost a bit more than some store bought brands but it also performs much better than the normal lotions that are cheaper in price.

My experience with the lotion was a great experience for the overall performance of the product. The smell was another story. I'm not gonna deduct any stars because the scent isn't stinky by any means. It's just not one of my preferences. I'm sure you have heard the old saying: one mans trash is another mans treasure. This is, of course, not trash, but you understand my meaning.

Follow-up commentary
This is still one of the creams that I use quite a bit. I like the way that it makes my skin feel!
