Whip It, Whip It Good!

This whipped body cream is fantastic for rough dry patches like knees, feet, elbows, and hands. It can also be used as an everyday body cream for those with dry skin all over. It is moderately scented and contains several moisturizing ingredients to soften even the driest skin. This jar contains 12-ounces which will last one person quite awhile with regular use. I think it is well worth the $22 price tag!

Use

Bella II Fiore Whipped Body Crème is a great way to refresh and rejuvenate tired and stressed out skin. It's great for everyday use, for special occasions, or if you have rough dry areas like elbows, knees, and feet.

This whipped body cream has natural oils like apricot kernel oil, olive oil, grapeseed oil, plus pure Aloe Vera, vitamins E and A, chamomile, ginseng, green tea leaf, and calendula extracts.

With it's multitude of skin goodies, this thick body cream leaves silky, smooth, and perfectly moisturized. This lotion is amazing when used after a shower or bath. It would also be perfect to apply before a night of sensual fun. Aloe is the main ingredient in the lotion so it goes on thick, but absorbs nicely. It does leave a nice scent on your skin for awhile after you apply too.

The product page lists this body cream as paraben-free, however the ingredient list on the product page, clearly states that it contains Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, and Ethylparaben - all of which are clearly parabens. The container also states that it contains glycerin so those who are sensitive or allergic may want to stay away from this one.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

This body cream is thick and creamy in texture. It's super-easy to apply because it's really silky and glides over skin nicely. Just a little bit goes a long way and this body cream absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy or oily residue behind. When you apply some to your finger tips and rub them together, it almost feels like a nice, high-end hair conditioner. Because it is a thick consistency, it doesn't drip or run, but rather stays where you put it until you rub it in. The cream itself is white in color and really looks indulging even in the container.

Taste / Aroma

Bella II Fiore Whipped Body Crème comes in two different scents; Honeysuckle/Grapefruit & Almond/Coconut. I chose the Honeysuckle/Grapefruit scent in hopes that it would have more grapefruit than honeysuckle to it, but unfortunately it was the other way around. Don't get me wrong it smells really good, it just wasn't as fruity or citrus-y, as I was hoping. In the container, all you can smell is the sweet, floral scent of honeysuckle. When you rub it into your skin, you can smell a faint grapefruit scent but that's about as much grapefruit as you get. If you like honeysuckle scent, you totally cannot go wrong with this because it's smells just like fresh honeysuckle.

Performance

The whipped texture of the body cream feels ultra luxurious on your skin. It instantly moisturizes rough, dry skin and turns it into soft, moisturized, fabulous-smelling skin. You can tell a difference after just one application and that is what I truly love about this cream. It absorbs nicely into the skin, and despite all of the moisturizing ingredients and oils, it does not leave your skin greasy or oily at all. It also seems to help my skin retain more moisture just in general, because my skin hasn't been as dry lately since I started using this body cream. I can apply this body cream in the morning after a shower and my skin still feels soft and is lightly scented until I take a shower at night before I go to bed.

My daughter also uses this cream and she has dry skin like I do, and it works really well for her too.
    • Absorbs into skin nicely
    • Feels natural
    • Long lasting

Packaging

This body cream is housed in a plastic jar with a screw off lid. It contains 12-ounces of whipped body cream, which doesn't sound like much, but my daughter and I both used my jar everyday at least once, and it lasted us a little over a month. The outside of the jar is decorated nicely and would make a nice gift or display on a bathroom counter, desk, or vanity.

It is a nice classy presentation so there is no need for it to be discreet. No one would know it came from EdenFantasys, unless of course it is a product that they use. Because of the size of the container (12-ounces), this jar of body cream is not airplane-friendly but it you wanted to take it with you, you could always get a small container with a lid and just take some of it. EF can also ship to you pretty much wherever you are so you could always have it sent to your destination too. Any other of type of travel (car, train, bus, etc) would be fine as it will fit in just about any overnight bag or suitcase.
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Easy to use / dispense
    • Would make a nice gift

Personal comments

When I purchased this product, I didn't notice that it had parabens or I probably wouldn't have ordered it. I have really sensitive skin so I was actually a little worried about using this on my skin. So, I had to do a little research.

Here are some things you may not know about parabens from the FDA.gov website:

First of all, what are parabens you ask?

- Parabens are esters of p-hydroxybenzoic acid

- The most common parabens used in cosmetic products are methylparaben, propylparaben, and butylparaben.

- Typically, more than one paraben is used in a product, and they are often used in combination with other types of preservatives to provide preservation against a broad range of microorganisms.

Why are they used?

- Parabens are primarily used in products to protect them from microbial growth, which protects the user and the integrity of the product.

What kinds of products have parabens?

- Cosmetics that may contain parabens include makeup, moisturizers, hair care products, and shaving products, among others.

What are the risks?

- Please take a moment and read [ Are there health risks associated with the use of parabens in cosmetics? | https://www.fda.gov/cosmetics/productandingredientsafety/selectedcosmeticingredients/ucm128042.htm ]

There is some really good information there and it definitely eased my worries about using products with parabens.

Experience

I've used this whipped body cream on my entire body, everyday for about a month and I have fallen in love with it (even though it wasn't my favorite scent, I did continue to use it). My skin is soft and silky to the touch. And, I've noticed a huge difference in the amount of moisture my skin retains since I started using it.

I've also learned that just a little bit of this body cream goes a long way, so it is well worth the $22 price tag. This container on average will probably last someone about 6-8 weeks with regular use.

I do want to mention that this body cream absorbs really nicely into skin, unless you use too much of the product. The first couple of times I used it, I actually didn't like it. I was used to using a body lotion that wasn't as moisturizing, so when I tried to use the same amount of this body cream, it was just way too much. You will know you have the right amount on when you feel soft and silky, not greasy or slippery. Just start with a small amount and you can always add more if you need to.

Follow-up commentary
I still love this whipped body cream! As I mentioned in my review, I really love the body cream but didn’t really love the honeysuckle/grapefruit scent. It has just a little too much honeysuckle for my liking.

So, after finishing off the rest of this container, I actually purchased the whipped body cream again but this time in the coconut-almond scent. I totally love it! It smells amazing and is much more to my liking than the other. I think this just may have to be my new go-to body cream. It smells awesome and moisturizes like a charm. The pretty packaging also makes this body cream a great gift for women of any age.

great review. I will have to try this. My skin and hands get really dry and I can't stand lotions that take forever to soak in or leave an oily feel.
