The purpose of the "Over/Under Lip Conditioner" by Not Soap Radio is to soften and protect your lips from the elements, the goal of which is to keep them kissably soft. Not a bad thing, right? The ingredients, which are all natural and vegan, are listed on the container. It is rare to have an allergic reaction to natural ingredients, but since you never know, if you (or your partner) are sensitive to anything, please test this on your skin before using it on a regular basis.

This product can, and should, be used by men, women, and even older children. Particularly in very cold and/or dry climates, our lips need protection. Most of us have felt the heartbreak of chapped lips and that is just one ailment this conditioner will prevent.

It is a solid, waxy substance that you can wipe your fingers across and apply a light coat directly to your lips. The heat of your fingers running across the conditioner is enough to soften it just enough for your lips. You can be confident that the conditioner will not leak from its container and can be safely carried in your pocket.

The conditioner does not run, and I did not feel it wiping off when I drank or ate. It seemed to be readily absorbed into my skin.

Normally, you would expect a product of this type to be marketed to women and not men. There is a light vanilla scent in the cup, but not when on your lips, no color and no flavor to this, making it perfect for everyone.

Immediately after applying the conditioner to your lips they feel soft. If you have been experiencing any irritation this is so wonderful because there is immediate relief. Not many products can honestly do that. I use this at least twice a day (morning and evening) and often in-between. I don't use an additional lip product.

My wife also uses this morning and evening but she applies her lipstick over the conditioner. The package implies (over/under) that you should use the conditioner a second time over the lipstick but my wife feels that would be wasteful as the double coat of the conditioner and lipstick seems to hold onto her lips for several hours. If her lipstick comes off, she repeats the conditioner coating and then the lipstick. Generally, she does this at some point in the day but if we are home and she isn't wearing lipstick, she will just apply the conditioner if her lips feel dry, which is not often.

The Over/Under lip conditioner is supplied in a small jar with a twisty cap. The ingredients are listed on the package (very small print and very hard to read) but they do include aloe, Vitamin E, shea butter and several natural oils among the items. Aloe is known to heal and the Vitamin E is a natural moisturizer. It is nice to know that there are no harsh chemicals going on our lips. The jar is small enough to fit in your pants pocket or a woman's purse without damaging the container or your pants.

The cups that the conditioner is packaged in weigh .31 ounce, or 9 grams--not a heck of a lot. But, a little does go along way and my wife and I have been sharing one cup for close to a month now. We have been together for many years, but normally I would not recommend sharing such an intimate item.
