Crazy Girl shimmery dust - shimmer discontinued by Classic Erotica - review by ViVix

Despite the name, Crazy Girl shimmery dust isn't even on my top 10 list for shimmer products. I'm not saying that there is no shimmer, but it is very hard to see unless you apply a LOT of this product and then sit at the right angle in direct sunlight.

Yet, shimmery dust would be my current top choice for edible body products. This can be used for a fun little game of hide and seek where your partner licks different spots to try to find where you've hidden this edible body powder.

I would suggest that this product will most likely appeal to women or as a gift for a female partner. The shimmery dust is pink, and although this doesn't show upon application, I do think that some men might be dissuaded. I also believe that women are more likely to allow for a partner to lick them all over. I may just be biased because I've dated my fair share of hairy men...

This shimmery dust has the consistency of most body powders. When rubbed onto the skin, it does not leave a noticeable residue however. My skin feels exactly the same. This is easy to apply and comes with a furry little applicator pad. To get more powder out, I simply tip the package over and tap lightly. There is no stickiness...even after the product is licked.

This dust both smells and tastes like cotton candy. When the product is applied, the smell isn't so noticeable to people who aren't intimately close to you. However, this product boasts pheromones, so perhaps those secretly lure individuals in. I'm all for the placebo effect of pheromones, but there is just not enough evidence to support engineered pheromones within cosmetic products.

The flavoring of this product will stay on the skin until it is washed off, licked off, or sweated off. Basically, it will not magically evaporate or absorb so fully into the skin that it can't be tasted. Water alone will be enough to clean this product off of your skin though.

My favorite thing about this product is absolutely the taste. My least favorite thing is that there is almost no shimmer. However, as an edible body powder that has no aftertaste, I'm willing to overlook the lack of shimmer. This product isn't what I expected, but it is terribly useful anyway.

This product comes in a .5 ounce jar, but there is enough shimmery dust to last for quite some time. The jar is clear with a black label, and the lid is black. The top unscrews to reveal a plastic piece with about 20 holes in it, which the product comes out of. There is also a white furry powder puff. An ingredients list is included.

I would say that this package is perfect for travel, but it is not discreet. It says "sex attractant" clear as day on the top of the jar. If the manufacturer had simply left out that part, this item could be left out within view with no issues.

There are pheromones within this item. Whether or not non-naturally produced pheromones work is really a controversial topic. I've experienced what I believe to be the placebo effect of pheromone products in the past. Even after researching, I would find myself holding onto a little hope that the product would work and noticing all the positive aspects of things that were happening around me. So, regardless, I would consider this a positive aspect though not a key reason for my purchase.
