Oddly Ineffective

I can't help but to want to give this shave cream some points for good intentions. A pheromone infused, rash-free, unscented shave cream that can even be used on the most sensitive areas (see the phrase "balls n all") really does sound like an intriguing product. It just doesn't really exist here.

Use

Max shave balls n all is designed specifically for men. Supposedly, shaving will increase a male's sensitivity as well as make his penis look larger. Not only that, but this shave cream is pheromone infused to draw women to your nether regions.

After a brief look at the ingredients (most of which I have seen in women's products as well), and the consideration that I too would like to draw individuals to my nether regions, I decided to test this product from a woman's perspective.

If all male shaving products are like this product, I now understand why I run into so many stubbly men.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Max shave cream is more like a thick gel and stays in place. Unfortunately, it may be too thick and stay in place too well. It is extremely hard to get a close shave with this product...even when using a new men's razor. It's also kind of a pain to wash off. I was shaving my lady bits, rinsed off, and stepped out of the shower. That's when I found that I had washed it down my leg and not off of me. This happened twice. As for other aspects, max shave cream has a bit of a whitish tint to it. It is smooth, but it's not particularly slick. The squeezable tube makes application easy.

Taste / Aroma

Although max shave cream boasts that it is unscented, there is a light scent to this product. It maybe smells a little like a medicated lotion. By the way, when something is unscented, I don't expect to see three different kinds of parfum listed on the label. Finally, this is not an edible product, and so I did not taste it. I wouldn't advise it either.

Performance

This product is thick, and that originally gave me high hopes. However, when a shave cream is too thick, it keeps the razor so far from the skin that a close shave is impossible. Also, despite the stubbly shave job, I still broke out a little bit from this product. I'm guessing one of the ingredients irritated my skin, though I'm not sure which one. Last, but not least, this product is harder to wash off than other creams.

Packaging

Max shave cream comes in a black tube. The cap of the tube can either be unscrewed, or it can be flipped open. This is not necessarily a discreet package. After all, what would you take "balls n all" on your shave cream to mean? Suggested use and ingredients are listed on the back.
