Dona pheromone perfume gel - perfume discontinued by System JO - review by JDear

I really love Dona products, and this pheromone perfume gel is no exception. It smells great and the added bonus of pheromones should hopefully grab your partner's attention. It is aphrodisiac infused to get you into the mood, too! I love to roll it onto my pulse points so that I catch light whiffs of it throughout the day. You can also apply it on your neck before sex so that your partner will smell it when they go in for a kiss. It would also make a wonderful gift for a female friend.

I have very sensitive skin and have had no issues with this product. The ingredients are:
Purified Water, Ethyl Alcohol, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, PPG-26 Buteth-26, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Androstenone, Estratetaenol, Androstenone 3-Beta, Androstadienone, Copulins, Fragrance.

The gel itself seems to be pretty thin once rolled onto the skin. It feels very light and absorbs into the skin quickly and easily. The only way to tell it's there after putting it on is to smell it. Sometimes it doesn't come out very well at first, but shaking the bottle before applying really helps.

Pomegranate is one of my favorite scents from the Dona line. This is definitely more of a fruity scent than a floral. It's sweet and tangy at the same time. It kind of reminds me of sweet frozen yogurt in the best way possible. The smell is fairly light and never overpowering. It fades over time but you can still smell it up close hours later. If I put it on my wrists I might smell it when I reach up to brush my hair out of my eyes or put on makeup. I put it behind my ears if I want my partner to smell it when we're close. You could pair this with the body spray for all-over scent.

This product provides a decent amount of scent initially and then fades throughout the day to a light scent. If you want a stronger scent, you may need to apply it a few times during the day or use more. I wash my hands a lot during the day, and so if I have it on my wrists it washes off and I have to reapply. Since it's light and absorbs into the skin nicely, cleanup concerns are pretty much nonexistent. I don't know how effective the aphrodisiacs or pheromones in the product work, but it does smell awesome, and I love that! The only thing wrong with this is that there's a chip off the glass bottle under the cap. I wrapped a piece of tape around it to prevent myself from getting scraped. If you travel with this, pack it away in a soft case.
